I walked in while the restaurant was quite busy with theatre goers grabbing a meal before the show. The front of house manager was polite and explained that there will be a bit of a wait but he made every effort to get me seated at a table while I browsed the menu. I thoroughly enjoyed the mushroom starter and the chicken main course.

Absolutely fabulous first visit for my Birthday. Afternoon tea was delicious. Staff were fantastic. Could not have wished for a nicer venue and service.

Not the fastest restaurant but surprises us. Food it's great and the waiters not bad but sometimes they forgot that is a table there waiting, the service still be good.

Staff are so lovely and welcoming. Atmosphere is calm and decor is clean and modern. We had the afternoon tea and I would definitely recommend it!

Visit today for late lunch. Staff was ever so helpful and lovely. We had steak and was perfect. Really enjoyed our visit. Also - may I thank the restaurant for your very kind hearted ❤️ gesture to give my friend a free tea!! While we sat out finishing our lunch, we carried on talking, then my friend started getting upset by the topics of her family issues, etc. The staff must have seen me hugging her to console - the next minute one of the staff brought us a pot of tea to cheer her up.Such a kindness has made a real impression to her and warmed up her troubled soul. Thank you ever so much!!

Excellent service by all members of staff who were rushed off their feet with it being match day. Food was great not long to wait at all considering how busy it was. Great atmosphere, fab food, super staff. All round excellent visit thank you

Had a red letter day for after tea for two, lovely day out, the food was very nice, interior was inviting, will be going again next time we're in the area, definitely worth a trip for the afternoon tea

Visited Sunday morning just before 12pm. To be perfectly honest the service was shocking! On arrival was met by a lady ...no smile or nice greeting...this standard continued throughout an extremely slow service. To be honest may have been because they were so busy and only 2 servers, however this is no excuse for not even smiling. Have to also say the my steak baguette was dry and tasteless, no sauce, so the food was not even a redeeming feature...would not recommend which is a shame.

Really enjoyed a bite to eat and a sneaky G&T here recently. Both the food and drinks were reasonably priced.Sheldon, who served us; was an absolute diamond! Great character, fab service. Made the visit even more enjoyable.
