Express Chippy in Salford

ABSOLUTELY ROTTEN!! All food stone cold, health and hygiene should investigate the place threw the lot in the bin!

Absolutely disgusting.. right so just been in for fish & chips, it didn't look very clean, there was hardly any food in the display cabinets, no price list, something was covering it all, also it was back to front! Had to wait for the fish, which is perfectly understandable, infact, personally I think that is a lot better when buying fish. However, I was very wrong! The batter around the fish looked & smelled weird, not like any I've seen before, it tasted fusty! The fish inside was pink in colour, quite obviously not cooked properly & the chips were old & cold! Atrociously poor quality all round.

The best thing about this place was the fast delivery time, chips and how hot the food still was.The chicken tikka is bland and very dry and the southern fried, spicy chicken wings are basically just wings that have been coated in the same batter the fish go in. Nothing spicy or southern fried about them. Totally false advertisement and money well wasted.

If i could minus a star I would. Disgusting barmcake which shattered into pieces trying to open it. No wonder no customers and got more peas than chips

Staff are lovely & the food is always Bob on 💯👌🏻

So I've ate from here twice now and the service was polite.Tonight's food was good and cooked well but just had one problem and that was with the fish it didn't seem as fresh as last time I had it but was okay though also I think they could improve by having the drinks brought cold instead of room temperature, so other than that no problems and I probably will be ordering again from here and it maybe the best chippy in my area.

Very poor fish and chips. Didn't like it as we had more batter than fish. The chips were overcooked if not almost burnt.

Real Home made chips the fish are very tasty value for money and great staff

Though the foods always piping hot, I find it a little to bland for my taste. I always find that the chips are dry to, often having to wash them down with a drink so I don't choke. The staff are polite though.
