Holiday Inn Manchester - West in Salford

Great place to stay to explore Manchester. The quays media city 15 min drive away. Comfortable rooms. Breakfast is fantastic. Staff helpful and friendly. Car parking available on site.

Stayed for work, absolutely awesome welcome and very courteous and kind staff. William who was the manager was very supportive and descriptive about the services and was provided with emergency toiletries. And lovely bar and staff and great chef who was very lovely and happy to cook the desired food on menu and also had opportunity to have a late pizza 🍕 and my stay was comfortable, relaxing and simply awesom . And nice breakfast before checkout to work and brilliant experience and best wishes 💙

One of the best hotels in the group. Well run, excellent staff who couldn't do enough for me. Wish I could have given them more than five stars

Not a great location and our room was grim. Bed was clean and comfy but the carpet had more stained bits than clean bits. The bathroom was nasty, definitely need re decorating.Staff were friendly, check in and out was quick and painless. There's ample parking with security cameras. Just be aware that it's either a car/taxi journey into the city or a fairly long walk.

Good location, comfortable and good sized rooms. Friendly staff but terrible breakfast.Food was cold, we never saw hash browns even after waiting for 30 minutes. We couldn't even muster the courage to eat the scrambled eggs, that looked at least a month old.Would prefer to stay somewhere else next time.

Really friendly receptionist and duty manager.However the restaurant😳.We found their menu to be quite impressive so decided to eat their instead. Lovely manager took our orders and sent them. We had to wait over 40 minutes just for the starters. Our friends joined us and made their orders. About an hour later we were told that unfortunately they have ran out of chicken nuggets but we could get chicken breasts to replace. After 40 minutes wait our friends were served before us! We then got ours which was not the greatest to be honest! Turns out it was not chicken breast but an overcooked chicken thigh! For the replacement.I think the chef spent more time doing delivery orders than preparing the food for the guests in the actual hotel. Could see the delivery guys coming in and out/her going through the doors with packaged food.Breakfast was excellent though!!!

Good location, went for the xmas Market. Hotel clean, staff friendly and helpful. Executive room was a good size although thought the bed was a little hard. Food was good, all in all a good stay and would stop there again. Left my phone in room after we checked out, phoned hotel they were very good, found my phone and kept it in safe for me till I collected it.
