Le Cassi's in Salford

After reading some recent positive reviews, I was looking forward to the wine, cheese, meats and quiz night. Unfortunately I was sorely disappointed. The 'prosecco' we got served had been in the bottle for 3+days and had gone flat so had to ask for another one, the interval lasted an hour, the food arrived at half 9 (lukewarm) - bearing in mind we'd been there since just before 7 to grab a table. It felt a bit unorganised and felt it went on longer than necessary. Unfortunately I had to leave at half 10 as I have early starts in the morning, whilst the chaser part of the quiz was still going on. Could have been so much better and hope this was a one off.

Amazing night. Host was brilliant. Definetly reccomend anyone to visit.

From the food to the drinks to the entertainment hosted at this stylish wine bar i can not fault it and the staff are so friendly and welcoming. I definitely recommend the Quiz on a Thursday evening!

Every time we go in on a Saturday night it's empty. Atmosphere is non existent. Lovely guy on his own working the bar and made us martini expressos. Loved the board and card games to play . It needs an injection of energy. Maybe a music gig?

Very disappointed with the Groupon voucher for Le Cassis Wine and Nibbles offer. Four of us visited late February having travelled over 30 miles to get there only to be told that there was no food available. The girl behind the bar offered us a bottle of house white at happy hour price of £10 to compensate and said it would be better to keep hold of the voucher because the food that is normally available is unbelievably good and not to be missed. On our return a month later(having rung the venue to check that the food and wine were available, got told that EVERYTHING IS BACK TO NORMAL, ALL FOOD AND WINE AVAILABLE FOR THE GROUPON DEAL!) there was no house white available, only one meat available and then got told one of the two cheeses I ordered was out. Didn't get asked if I wanted an alternative. When the food arrived we had literally just the cheese and one meat and had to ask for biscuits to eat with the cheese. We expressed ourselves by saying how very disappointed we were in a polite way ate our cheese in which was actually quite nice but just very disappointed in the entire service. We will never be returning again and it has put me off buying anything like this again from Groupon.

Went In with wowcher deal. Had no issue upgrading and spending more.Service was fabulous and food was great. The prawsn were overdone but the mushrooms were unbelievable.Will return for more. I just hope more people find the little gem.

Visited Sunday, with Groupon voucher, the young lady who greeted us (later found out name of Oli) was extremely warm and welcoming she explained what our voucher covered we had loads a bottle of house wine, which was delicious the tapas we had was also excellent , mozzarella ball, Palma ham, stuffed peppers (sooo good). It was just a shame we were the only two in. But did give us the opportunity to have a good chat with the lovely Oli to be fair the wasn't a lot of people around in any of the eateries. Will definitely call in again lovely tapas bar.
