Would definitely recommend the signature fish and chips; probably one of the best fish & chips I’ve had!Lovely location looking out onto the canal with a pool table and live sports. Genuinely a really friendly welcoming team!Keep up the great work Becky and team!

Quiet chilled relaxing, no bother. Food was scrumptious. Chicken and mushroom pie yum. Lamb shank melted in my mouth. Plenty of outdoor seating with an amazing view of the canal. Great after lunch walking routes. Dog friendly.

Nice location but a lot of the tables still had plates with bits of food on an used glasses. Didn't seem to be enough staff to look after the place adequately. Only gets a 3 star rating improvement on hygiene would increase this

We came here yesterday for lunch as we were baby free for the afternoon. The views were lovely, the place was clean and the staff were so kind and friendly. We ordered food and I was surprised that it took 25 mins for the starter to arrive, and then an hour later our mains did, however, it was clear as day that management hadn't staffed enough people for the weather - it was lovely so expectedly very busy. The food was great, and again the staff were so nice. Had I have known where to leave a tip for the staff I would have as it was clear they were all working as hard as they could on a very understaffed day. Management needs to support their staff better as they are doing a great job!

Great location and good for a drink. Don't bother with the food though, really awful. Staff are friendly. Really disappointing as this is my local but wouldn't eat here.

We had a very warm welcome from Becky and the team. Our food was brought out quickly and it was delicious. I had the chicken New Yorker and it was one of the best I've tasted. There will be a new smartphone quiz night launching on 28th of Feb every Monday at 8pm. The quiz is free to play, lots of fun, and with some great prizes up for grabs.Colin

Called for lunch on a 6 mile canal walk and very glad we did! I had the beef n ale pie with chips and veg and I have to say it was great. On a two meals for £11 something, with a decent fish n chips n peas for the other, a real bargain!A couple of pints of IPA wasted it all down a treat.Staff were very pleasant and attentive with a speedy service.Very much reccomended!

In a great relaxing location, food was very good value for money, and the beer wasn't bad either. Good selection of both beers and spirits. Friendly bar staff, family friendly, and that includes the dog.

Lovely pub by canal with great atmosphere. Friendly and professional staff. Very busy day as two parties in today but told upfront would be a wait and came quicker than they said. Dog friendly including inside. Will definitely come again as food delicious 😋
