Mr Cook in Salford

Just had 1st take away from this place on uber eats. 100%. Delivered 30 minutes before they said and the food was fantastic. Starter was lovely and Plenty of meat and prawns in the 4 seasons dish and was perfectly cooked. Definitely recommend and i will be using this take away again. Polite and friendly driver to go with it.

Ordered my food this evening from Ocean cook and because I challenged owner last time regarding false advertising. I was actually trying to help them from a trading standards point of view.She cancelled my order and didn't call me after waiting a hour I called and she didn't want to hear me explain that if she cancelled she should of called.It's now almost 10pm and I order around 8pm. I've been a loyal customer for over 2 years when they where MR Cook paying and promoting the business.I'm sitting here so disappointed and with no apology from owners It's left me no choice but to give this negative review. Customer service is everything especially in hospitality.Sorry is just for letters and she couldn't say it instead she put the phone down on me, saying she didn't want to argue.Good food but bad customer service ☹

Disappointed. Ordered via Uber eats. Food did not smell fresh and tasted off - I ordered special chow mein, all meats looked off/ had off texture when chewing. Spring rolls were chewy full of bean sprouts that were hard. Prawn toast was soggy with grease. Ended up binning it all.Chips were nice though.

Excellent food, large portions, very good value for money. Delivery driver was really pleasant, arrived before the ETA and the food was really hot when it came. Will definitely be ordering again soon

Ordered through the Uber eats for the fist time and we were really disappointed. Wonton soup is nice. Spring rolls were awful, really chewy, only beans sprouts inside which is really hard to bite. Beef chowmein was disgusting, smells like the food is not fresh, the taste is also not delicious and very salty.

Been ordering regularly from this place - food is really nice. However the delivery driver is incredibly rude and it's very off putting me from ordering from there again!

The beef chow mein I ordered was mediocre and I would not order this dish again here but the service I received was very fast and polite.

Great tasting food, friendly staff, and portions are huge! Have been a loyal customer at Mr Cook over the past 4 years and will continue to do so in the future. Most of the people order via Just Eat, but we prefer to eat in sometimes, and we love it - it's cozy, quiet, and nothing is too much trouble for the staff.Whoever reads these Google reviews, please don't pay attention to people who gave it 1* as I can see they only created their accounts to underrate businesses. Hence why they have just 1 contribution.

Guilty Pleasure... my favourite chinese simply for their ho fun! Had their ma po and the aubergine/pork - both are delicious. Service has always been good for me too.

Amazing food, lovely staff - for those who complain about the food and the fact that the orders aren't right - uhm, have you ever heard of "communication" and "feedback"? If something isn t right or up to your taste, tell the staff if you're unhappy and they will sort it out for you !!This business deserves 5* as it delivers excellent value for money and the flavours are authentic and delicious.Keep up the good work !!
