Osechi Japanese Street Food in Salford

It was ok. The food all arrived at different times so we couldn't eat together. The starters came after the main meal. The restaurant seems to be focused on Takeaway drivers. The food tasted nice though.

Enjoyed our food from Osechi, we got a range of sushi, katsu chicken curry & sea bass on noodles, all of the food was fantastic. Reasonable priced compared to other sushi places we've eaten - very good amount of food!

My second visit , superb ....I will be back regularly, great value , great food

Food was pretty nice but the service was decidedly frosty. Kind of felt like they would rather we just did a takeout instead of bothering them. Would definitely give it another chance though as I may have just caught them on a bad day and they have a good offering on the menu. Also be aware when we visited they only took cash but didn't advertise that until you were already inside.

I ordered from Uber eats then my Chicken karaage donburi had lots of egg shell in it It’s not even close to karaage either - karaage is supposed to be deep fried I won’t be ordering from here again.

Food 2/5This score is purely down to the quantity and level of spice. The noodles were really greasy and the satay didn't taste anything like peanuts. (Asked about this and they said their satay doesn't taste like peanuts because a lot of people don't like peanuts... go figure). The picture they display shows broccoli in the veg and there was just onions, pepper and a couple of mushrooms.Service 2/5The price was okay (£5 for veg egg noodles) but I had to pay in cash. I was never asked how my food was and when I tried to explain that I found them quite greasy the woman i spoke to kept walking off in the middle of a sentence.Wouldn't go back, it smells too strongly of old frying oil

Love the new location!!! amazing value for money, I've been visiting pretty regularly and haven't been disappointed by anything I've tried!! highly recommend the £5 lunch box meals

Absolutely amazing food, very fresh, flavours are traditional and very moorish. Highly recommend and will definitely be ordering again soon. Compliments to the chef.

This place is awesome and along with the Chinese market round the corner has totally nailed lunchtimes in Sale.Had the katsu curry which at £5 was really good and portion size was bigger than expected.Only grumble is that it’s cash only but there are loads of cash machines close by so it’s only a minor inconvenience.

Well, will be nice to put how food was but we can't even try it.My wife is lactose intolerant so we asked if any dishes contain dairy or they used in the kitchen, the first waitress doesn't understand anything and go to ask the other waitress... witch her response to our questions was even more strange, "everything is gluten free", was everything she told us. For us were strange cause ramen noodles is one of the menu.
