Firstly as soon as we sat down the table was dirty, it had been half heartedly wiped down. Knifes and forks still had food stains on them so had to ask for replacements, and water glasses had lipstick on them. Not great full stop nevermind during Covid times. Service was terrible even though the restaurant was half full. Was told they didn't have half the items on the menu because they'd 'ran out'. On both courses we had one member of our table was forgotten and we had to chase for the order. And when it did eventually arrive the pizza wasn't fully cooked. Starters was cold in the middle and the food was extremely tasteless and bland. The Pizza Express chain need to up their game as a whole and this particular restaurant needs an overhaul and some serious training. Will not be returning.

Awful experience. Took too long for food to come and was told one of the meals wasn't available when everyone was just about to eat. One of my friends ordered olives and I saw the olive dish that was his was being used to put on meals and to nibble on before bringing it to our table. I only gave the stars because my meal was quite nice

Had lunch here today with a friend and my 3 year old little girl. Gabriella served us and was so friendly and professional, she did an awesome job if making our visit lovely. Food was good and the children's menu is good value. Will definitely be back

I love pizza express and probably “try” and order off them at least twice a week. However they NEVER pick up the phone! Which is so frustrating as a customer with allergies I need to make them aware of. I have to end up calling another pizza express to ask them to try and contact them to let them know! Very basic customer service however the seem to fail it every time.

Hour long wait for food, food arrived cold, waiters forgetting order....bedlam. In fairness, the manager agreed that the whole thing was a giant mess and refunded most of our bill for 8 of us. She has a mighty job to knock this place in to order. Good luck, girl.

Lucky to get 1 star but the waitress Gabriella was fantastic.1. Stood for nearly ten minutes at the door before someone came to us .... Even with a reservation.2. Difficult to find a table because so many were still full of pots from previous customers.3. Staff stood talking or just just doing nothing.4. Had to wait 15 minutes to order a drink.5. The restaurant was cold and we had to keep our coats on.6. With such a small menu how on earth can you not have Raw Slaw?I don't think this is an unusual experience. I think this restaurant has had it tooooo easy for tooooo long and doesn't deserve to still be in business. Rather sit outside in the rain and eat a Gregg's pie !!!!!

A completely empty restaurant at 430 a Monday....but apparently no tables and fully booked....great business model!

Table, glasses and baby high chair were filthy, waited over half an hour for the food, which needs a lot of improvement. I paid 7 pounds for 3 overcooked prawns bathing in water mixed with oil, and 12 pounds for a bit of salad with a mozzarella ball and a few olives, no flavours whatsoever. Avoid.

Just average on this occasion. Some of the food was good, some didn't arrive, some was like warm. And the service was slow. Disappointed and probably won't be returning to this franchise unfortunately. Could be so much better. Wasn't even that busy and we went on a Wednesday evening. Not worth the money on this occasion and it wasn't cheap. £122 for two adults and two children although the kids had adult pizzas but we still hungry for puddings (which were good to be fair)

Lots of space, nice and light inside with a great view of the quays. I tried the new Hot honey pizza with the super thin crispy base and I wont lie... it was pretty badass. So the base itself could have been crisper, I did struggle to cut it a little but I got there in the end! The topping was to die for however. Slightly hot with the sweetness of the honey, it was epic. I will put it out there though that the chunks of sausage on my pizza.... well... they were thick. Meaty and glorious... and impossible to stop nose diving off my pizza. This is not a pizza for those who aren't afraid to get a little messy! The staff were lovely, polite and chilled. I sat and chatted with my friend after we had finished the meal and werent kicked out. So that was much appreciated! The atmosphere was very relaxed. The pay by app situation was very straight forward also. I'd come back for sure.
