Highlight of the experience was the friendly delivery driver whom was absolutely lovely and wished me a happy new year. A real credit to the restaurant.Staff on the phone friendly, patient and polite.Food was tasty and probably the best seaweed I've ever eaten.

Lovely evening spent here tonight. Food fabulous casual. Great chatting with Veronica, her hospitality was 1st class, can't wait to return.

Ordered a large assortment of food from here on Wednesday night and had a bit of a buffet. It was one of the best takeaways I've had. It was delivered earlier than expected which wasn't a problem and they added in some complimentary wine which was a great touch. The food tasted great and there was a reasonable amount in each dish. I remember going a couple of years ago and ordering off the set menu and being impressed then. Chinese isn't my go to takeaway but these are definitely my go to restaurant for Urmston. Best Chinese I've had. Would be even better if they did set buffet take out choices designed for a group of up to 6 with the current pandemic restrictions.

Have always loved the food from pond quay. Had takeaway tonight, ribs were delicious as always. However the special fried rice was awful! Usually get 4/5 king prawns tonight found only 5 or 6 tiny pieces of prawn! When I pay the price I pay I don't expect that. Plus hardly any pork and chicken was tiny pieces. Won't be ordering again any time so. Sad.

Went here to celebrate my nieces birthday. I can not fault the food there was 11 of us and we all commented how fresh and lovely the food was. Buffet lots of choices , and very tasty. However the customer service is not that great, i feel the staff are quite rude particularly the older waiter. If they polish up on customer service i would not find any fault .

Service was poor and a member of staff was very rude to us. Waited over 2 hours to receive the food I had ordered and when it arrived, the quality was disappointing. I ordered 'crispy' salt & pepper shredded chicken and was served what was essentially seasoned batter, containing very little / no chicken. Main courses were reasonably priced but the extras were extortionate. I was charged £4.50 for a measly serving of curry sauce. Definitely won't be visiting this restaurant again in a hurry.

Went there for lunch with my mum and daughter today. One of the male waiters was very unfriendly to us and to an elderly lady at the table next to us. Everything was too much for him. They charged us for tap water and 6.50£ for my 2 year old daughters 'table spoon' full of egg noodles. When asked about vegan options at the buffet one of the waiters offered a soup with egg in it or prawn toast as alternative. This is the second time we have been there and last time was fine but I must say we were ever so disappointed with the service and won't go back there.

The best Chinese takeaway I've ever had in the UK. I ordered cantonese chicken and soft noodles - lightly battered deliciously moist chicken with a few vegetables and tasty sauce. Partner had sweet and sour chicken with egg fried rice - again lightly battered chicken with good selection of vegetables and sauce. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for restaurant quality Chinese food
