So right from the start I wanna say that this wasn't terrible, it just wasn't like other beefeater locations.Service was fine though we were able to order a starter that wasn't available, the first we knew about this was when the mains came. Communication was a fail here. The food wasn't the best, myself and partner had different meals but both were small portions compared to other locations. Quality was okay. The building here is a bit dated. The venue requires some effort.Final comment... the person serving tables their meals was sacrificing service for speed and it was noticed by ourselves and other tables around us.

Visited for evening meal and breakfast on Premier Inn Meal Deal, very good value. Conveniently located next door to hotel, overlooking the canal offering peaceful views. Excellent efficient service by friendly, helpful staff and good quality selection of meals to suit all tastes. Lift as well as stairs up to the restaurant. Toilets available also on same floor. Mixture of self service as well as served to your table breakfast. Hysterical toaster, be ready to put your bread through 4 times to get it toasted properly on both sides! Can simply have a drink at the downstairs bar. Can readily recommend.

I have always had very bad experiences over the past 15 years at all Beefies, food has been awful, staff rude and food overpriced. However this one was great, their latest vegan burger is 100 times better than their first attempt 5 years ago and they even have vegan bacon. The staff let me stay past closing as I was busy doing work on my laptop and were very accommodating. I was also very excited to see a vegan sundae on the menu which they were happy to tailor to remove the peanut butter and chocolate sauce.Would reccomend.

The guy in the plaid shirt dark hair working on 6/02/22 was amazing dealing with customers. Came to tell us what we ordered was no longer available and the way he approached us was so professional and polite. Of course we were fine with the meal change but he did everything the remedy the situation. If he isn’t the manager he definitely deserves to be! This was our first time at the beefeater and it will definitely be our local now:)

The staff were really friendly and helpful. The food was excellent and really well priced. I would definitely dine here again.

This was horrible absolutely disgraceful they got the wrong sauces and after we ordered they later came out and told us they had none left awful. The waitress was amazing lovely woman however the person who served are food had some what of an attitude. We made a complaint but the manager did not come over and left the waitress to speak to us awful managing. I must say I usually love a beefeater but this was just awful disgusting. The waitress was called Jemma Jemma was amazing 5 star for her absolutely class

This food could only be described as road kill. The nachos were stale! The (pulled pork) on top was questionable. My children's meals were inedible. The burger was practically a Frisbee. Burger role was stale, my daughter practically turned her nose up at it. The chicken bites could have been cooked for longer. Utter disappointment! Staff quite rude and uninviting. Wouldn't recommend!

Great comfortable place. Felt that table service had developed a culture of advising X,Y and Z beers had run out, barrel gone etc , problem with pump etc etc. and the only choice you end up with is the beer on pump upstairs, where we were sat, probably because they didn't want to have to go downstairs to the bar to get your beer of choice off the menu? Don't put it on the menu or manage staff to go downstairs or have it pumped up stairs as well. Apart from that everything else good, but it happened on 3 separate occasions.

Food was good, service ok. I had 2 little problems, ordered a cappuccino, received a latte or a cappuccino without froth milk, and second problem was when I got my burger I asked the manager if the burger is supposed to come with a dip she said nope, I thought I didn't read properly but after finishing the food I checked the menu and there you go the burger was supposed to come with a beefeater BBQ dip on the side. Please 🙏 learn the menu or change it!
