Robin Hood in Salford

I came into Robin Hood yesterday for a drink. I ordered a southern comfort and lemonade and Havana and Diet Coke, both mixers were out of the tap. I was charged £11.45! I am a regular visitor to Manchester and don't pay that much in dearer pubs. I went to the golden lion before this and was charged £9.80 for similar drinks. Won't be visiting again.

Always great. Staff are always professional, polite and friendly. Food is always good. Most times you can just walk in but best to book a table before going. Been coming many years now and will continue to.

Brilliant day out. Food was lovely and the cleanliness and ambience of the pub are faultless. Special mentions to Sean (The General Manager); George; Stacey and James. Customer service personified. I thoroughly recommend the venue to both drinkers; diners or sports fans. Immaculately clean, its an excellent venue and a credit to the Greene King chain.

Been here now a few times, visit at least once a week! Great service, great food! Really looking forward to nice summer drinks outside when the weather gets better! We'll done guys keep it going!!

Hadn't been here for many years! Went in for some lunch with my wife today and had a lovely experience 😊 Great service, very attentive and friendly staff, and the food was excellent as well! Mixed Grill and the Stack Burger come highly recommended 😎 Will definitely be visiting again soon 👍

Very disappointing full menu was not on due to covid..very limited menu didn't get missing portion of onion rings or missing grilled tomatoes partly grilled not cooked properly . the peppercorn sauce very small amount .the peas need changing like bullets. was not told on booking about limited menu .staff very friendly and helpful but felt the missing items were rushed from kitchen no care taken.

Went on Saturday for a mixed grill brilliant food yet again. We'll done again robin hood and bar staff lovely people who enjoy keeping you happy. Looking forward to our Xmas Dinner 🍽

It's okay.The steak was requested to be rare, but it's served on a 'sizzling skillet' so it carries.on cooking before you have a chance to tuck in.It may well have left the kitchen rare, but it was medium rare by the time I got into it, and thoroughly medium by the time I had finished.Other food across the table was pretty average and 'meh'.But it is what it is, the general fare for a chain pub.There were a few shortages of menu items, however I don't blame the pub for that given the current situation Britain finds itself.Service was a bit fleeting, they were completely friendly, but we did find ourselves waiting long times for them to turn up.Edit: Just received a generic 'sorry we didn't meet your expectations' response from the pub. Clearly didn't actually read or take on board anything said here judging by what they said.

Good cocktails and friendly staff. Offer good challenges for those that want fame and a full stomach! Reasonably priced food and always tasty. Good sharing combos so definitely a place to bring friends and there is a kids outdoor play area so is family friendly too!If you want to celebrate or just have an intimate meal - the Robin Hood does great service for both.

Really nice pub been a few times now. Excellent value even without the 50% off and really nice food. It’s just standard chain pub food but it’s always hot and is actually really tasty. On this occasion one of the onion bhaji add ons didn’t arrive but the waiter sorted this out. They took a while to come (after we’d all finished sadly) but they were more than happy to put them in a takeaway bag and this was fine with me. Recommend for a quick good value bite to eat, there’s also a nice outside area with a small play area perfect for families.
