Been to shahbaaz many times. Food amazing, staff very welcoming nothing to much trouble. I don't live in boothstown anymore, but still love to go when we are in the area.

The food is great and consistent. We all love it. I accidentally overpaid their delivery driver by £10 and I didn't realise my error until he came back to the house to return it. He could've easily taken the money and I would've been none the wiser but he didn't, so it's great to know they have integrity and are trustworthy.

Ordered 4 mains for 4 people from here as our usual in Walkden was closed. First thing I noticed is that it was £15 more expensive than the place we order from.Order arrived and one of the meals was a weird pink colour and the chicken looked and tasted off.Secondly, for some mental reason they decided to send 3 mains and one starter. So my meal consisted of half a plates worth of food (yet was still charged about £7 for it). When I called them to complain they said "oh I thought you wanted that one as a starter". Why on earth would we want 3 mains and 1 starter? Who would order this way? We'd surely have got a few starters. I said 4 MAINS at the start of the order.Refused any kind of refund and told if we go again ask to speak to him and he'll "sort you out" on your next order. Like we're ever going to order from them again. So in a nutshell, they're a massive rip off, get your order wrong by sending starters instead of mains, and then when you get the food some of it looks like it's come out of a dog's bowl. The worst takeaway I've ever had.UPDATE: I note that Shabaz have replied with a MASSIVE LIE. They DID NOT offer my next order free. Utter liars! Not only do they serve bad food and get your order wrong, they then LIE about how they dealt with the complaint. I requested a refund. They refused. They implied they'd ensure the order was correct if I were to order again. At NO POINT did they offer a free meal. Nor would I ever want to take them up on this offer, such was the shoddy quality.Shows the sign of a terrible business where they dismiss any complaints when made privately but as soon as the complaint is put on Google they act like saints to try to salvage the damage that their own bad customer service has caused. Learn how to deal with customer complaints at the first opportunity rather than spouting LIES.

First time I've been despite living in Boothstown for years. Food was delicious and staff very friendly. They wore masks and gloves, and tables separated by perspex screens so felt very safe.Generous portions and at a reasonable price. Will definitely visit again.

I'll give it a three stars but only because I had good service and we should support small businesses...the food was definitely not 3-star worthy. The butter chicken is the worst thing I've ever tasted. Truly a dish straight from the depths of hell. I knew from the smell alone that this was going to be atrocious. I opened the box and the curry is some weird pink colour, looking like some dish soap ready to inflict pure damage. I wouldn't even order it for my worst enemy. The prawn puri was decent, nothing special. Too much of a tomato taste for my liking but the puri was good at least. In fact, the only things that were good were the puris and chapatis, but you can't really go wrong with them.In conclusion, I still have nightmares about the Shahbaaz and I've had to go therapy because I keep smelling that butter chicken wherever I go.
