Tesco Cafe in Salford

The 1 star is for the very basic food and not the staff member who served me. She is not even worthy of a rating.I ordered the 'Beyond Burger & Fries' which is a vegetarian meal and is 920 calories. It was £11.95. The food was ok but the price is clearly expensive. I have been to this café a few times and the food is nothing special.Regarding the staff member who served me, she was very rude. A short woman with black hair whose attitude was completely off and stunk. Judging by the other reviews people shared Tesco Café has a problem with the staff they hire and the staff need disciplining or re-training at the very least! The woman who served me is not the type of person you want to have serving your food. I believe people who work in customer service should be polite and pleasant. Everyone has their off days but they should not let their negativity affect customers and people who have done nothing wrong to them. She had a proper miserable look on her face. It was not pleasant customer service. I do not know why places hire people like this. These people must claim that they have good customer service skills when they clearly do not. I believe food should not be served with a negative energy. These people are not fit to work in food or in any customer service roles where they are dealing with people.

A good place, I often come for lunch

So I have ordered a coffee Americano my partner payed and waited for it as I sat down with my son.She has asked him if I wanted milk with my coffee he wasn’t sure so he said yes which is ok however she has poured the milk in my coffee, then when i Told her i can’t have milk she said well then you need to pay for a new one very odd how she has the right to flavour my coffee even if I wanted to have milk I have the right to decide how much milk I want in my coffee,basic customer service you don’t pour milk or add sugar to the customer coffee even if they want, you give them on the side and they can decide for them self how much they want to have on that day.Poor customer service perhaps some extra training need it.

Ordered 3full breakfasts came to us cold, sausages weren't cooked properly bacon, the rind on it was still white had to vertically beg for all condiments discussing cost us £16plus gave us one small jug of milk for 3pots of tea had to ask for another discusting.

Despite their being 3 members of staff working that day, two were just sat at the back chatting, whilst one was having to do all the work of the rest of them (the 1 took 4 orders in the time it took the two to do one)Also, don't order the black pudding, it's honestly the worst Black Pudding I've ever tasted, cooked within an inch of its life and dense like a brick.Otherwise, rather good if basic food, don't go in expecting a miracle, and then it's worth it.

I went for a full breakfast. It was not tasty at all. Items were not fresh, haven't returned

First time I’ve been here so tried the Breakfast but found it to be dry, hash browns tasted like cardboard, they have no liquid left due to sitting on a hotplate for so long like the rest of it. The beans were bland and had no taste, no doubt just cheap stuff & even though this is one of Tesco’s larger stores I noticed I was the only person eating, everyone else had brews!You have to wonder why Tesco’s hasn’t done anything, they must know something isn’t right by the till receipts!
