The Blind Pig in Salford

I went in there probably a year or so since last time but this was a Sunday so a little quieter which was good as I was chatting with the friendly staff & my dad & I could hear every word.

Brill atmosphere, great team work. Most welcoming place. Nice food and drinks!

My first ever visit to the BP and I was absolutely blown away. The food was amazing, burrito bowl in particular was a stunner. The staff are extremely friendly, wish it was my local so I could visit more often!

Awesome little bar with super friendly staff, and nice rustical decor. Great price in food especially on the new menu which is delicious. Service fast and efficient and place is dig friendly also inside, great place to chill on the weekdays, great atmosphere in the weekend. Definitely recommend!

Came here for mother’s day breakfast as the last breakfast I had here was lovely, only to be totally disappointed.2 full english came out stone cold! No steam coming off at all. The man on the bar apologised and said he will sort it. We were offered another drink but had only just got our first drinks.Breakfast came back out, wasn’t fresh at all, like it had been put under a hot lamp for 5 minutes. Absolutely ridiculous. We complained again to a lady who told us it came out straight away which it definitely didn’t. She told us they would make us a completely fresh one, this should have happened the first time.As the ‘fresh’ ones came out, half was fresh and half wasn’t. One plate had fresh fried eggs on and the other had reheated eggs. Totally disappointing considering it was mother’s day too! I would never serve a cold plate to anyone!Will not be coming here again.

For my 33rd birthday we booked the bottomless brunch for 10 people. The food was amazing and was made quickly. The team were very accommodating and understanding of a member of the party with specific dietary requirements. The drinks were served quickly and there was a large choice of drinks available and the team also lined the table of 10 with free garlands for my birthday :) we’ll definitely be returning!

What I asked for wasn't on the menu, but what I did ask for wasn't very difficult to make. As you can see from my picture, I asked for Avocado & Bacon sandwich, with a fried egg extra. However, what arrived at the table was something I just could not believe. This actually cost me around £6!!! 😱 day light robbery. No refund was offered. Really, really disappointed with out visit to Blind Pig, Monton.

Lovely atmosphere, nice ambience. Staff absolutely outstanding. Staff was so welcoming and brilliant. They went above and beyond for us. Food also superb. Plenty of choice for even pickiest eaters.

Ordered from the lunch menu, was over charged by £3. The soft drinks were advertised as 16 oz but the glasses we were given were no more than 200ml, so less than half the advertised size. When I pointed this out on leaving there wasn't any offer of even a refill and I got the impression that only a call to Trading Standards is likely to result in changes going forward. The food itself was fine but we had to ask for the sauces listed on the menu. Overall it was a very underwhelming experience and we will be trying elsewhere next time.

Was very disappointed - the piri-piri chicken was nice enough albeit a bit dry on the outside but seemed little more than grilled chicken with some nandos sauce poured on. The salad was dreadful - no dressing and something in it tasted mouldy (the green peppers I think - some were half mush). The chips were dry and bland and didn't appear to have any seasoning on. The garlic bread (if that's what it was) was just ok and instantly forgettable.Others in my family had better experiences (e.g. my 2 year old son ate a whole adult portion of scampi & chips) so gets 2 stars for that.
