The Boathouse Inn Irlam in Salford

Great to be back in the blind pig it's been a while since our last visit. Even better when we found Hellina was back, and different bar staff. We always found the staff there very friendly and helpful and the drinks a reasonably priced.The food is well presented and delicious so when you go try it, you'd be silly not to.

Been in the Boat House for food a couple of times in the past few days and it was excellent on both occassions. The food was good and reasonably priced and the staff were very friendly and welcoming, they even allow dog walkers and have water bowls and treats set up at the front door for any dog visitors too.

Popped in for a coffee whilst out walking with friends on a lovely Spring day. The pub is light and airy. The coffee was lovely and hot. There is no shelter out the back anymore and only high seats (where there used to be benches) overlooking the old river Irwell. This wouldn't suit my mum, as she has mobility problems.Didn't sample the food, so can't comment on that.

I can honestly say I was well impressed tonite with the staff and management team. Our drinks were exchanged without any problem due to the gas being flat in the lemonade and Mike is an outstanding barman and a real credit to the pub.

Called in for the quiz last night and to take advantage of the 241 offers on main meals on offer at the moment. I ca no safely say I had the nicest steak I have had in a long time cooked to perfection. The staff are so friendly and hardworking I can highly recommend this pub.

Extremely poor meal tonight (20/02/22). Food took an hour and 10 mins to arrive and was cold, dried up and burnt when it did. My sons Yorkshire puddings was so burnt it was black and inedible. Told the server we weren’t happy and he shrugged it off and wasn’t interested. Didn’t even offer to replace anything. We were a large family table and none of us will return. Extremely disappointing service from a business that relies on local custom.

Lovely Sunday lunch reasonably priced service good would recommend

Lovely pub, we stopped here on a bike ride, the man on the bar was lovely and couldn't do enough, he was dashing around serving drinks, taking meal orders and serving them. We had the beef cobbler - very nice, and the Rudolph ale also a tasty ale.

Just had a brilliant sparkling afternoon tea at The Boathouse. We do lots of afternoon teas but this was up there with the best. Staff lovely and friendly and really nice surroundings. Looked at meals menu while we were there and will definitely be back! Thank you x

Great pub, drinks and food. Was there for a dog show where Luna won third prize in the prettiest female category. Can't complain too much as the cutest miniature dachshund puppy EVER won 1st.
