Lovely restaurant, with nice atmosphere, friendly attentive staff. Food on the face of it looks like you don't get enough, but the meals are deceptive and there is certainly enough to eat. The quality of the food and the presentation is superb. It is expensive, especially when you start adding extras and wine etc, but for a special occasion before a good show it is a great place to eat.Certainly would recommend.

Meal was OK but a little bland. They need to season their dishes better, the ham hock croquet was disappointing but the fish main was much nicer. Service was good and it is ideal for a pre theatre meal but it just needs to up its game to make it worth another visit.

Great place to eat and drink before going to the theatre next door. Choice of restaurant or bar meals, both looking very inviting. We went for the bar option, couple of side orders and 2 mains, all very nice and not long to wait either. The staff were very friendly and helpful as well, good night out.

We booked here for our first anniversary dinner, having got married at the lowry a year ago. We booked 7 weeks ahead of the date. We got an email just over a week before our booking to say due to an admin error they couldn't honour our booking as there is a private event taking place across the lowry. They did offer to seat us in the bar with a free bottle of wine, but the menu is snacks and not appropriate for the occasion. This is really disappointing, as the food was excellent when we ate here before.

Lovely restaurant at the Lowry. Great location. Delicious food and an extensive selection of drinks. Plenty of outside seating, great place to sit outside and enjoy the views on a summer's day Great place to chill out 👍👍👍👍

Was treated to afternoon tea by my daughter who lives in New Zealand for myself, my eldest daughter and her two sons for mothers day yesterday. Was not impressed with the service at all. Firstly we were shown to our table and just left there! We eventually called someone over who asked what drinks we would like. When the coffees and teas eventually arrived I turned my cup over from the saucer and it was badly stained. Then waited ages again for a clean cup and fresh coffee to be brought which I drunk in two goes. Asked for more coffee which was not forthcoming so asked again for a pot which is what you usually get with afternoon tea! When the sandwiches cakes and scones arrived I was not impressed with the selection especially the boys choices of dry cheese or ham sandwiches - thought there would have been more choice - maybe egg and tuna. Ive told my daughter in New Zealand that it was lovely as I didn't want to upset her especially as I know it would have cost her a small fortune and nothing she could really do all that way away. Definitely would not go again or recommend this restaurant to anyone. I dont think you had enough staff working although I must mention one member if staff called Adam who tried his best to accommodate us and get things moving along

Had afternoon tea here a few months ago and it was excellent.... cam back for dinner and it is disastrous. Menu on display turned out to be available but not at the price advertised as we were not going to a show even though no mention of this. Food was so over seasoned it was almost inedible, I felt like I had asked for fish with my salt not the other way round.

Thus was a very good pre-theatre experience. Five of us had a table overlooking the ship canal. We arrived at 6pm and, because of the efficiency of the operation, managed three courses in good time for the play. All the dishes we ordered were very good. My beef was excellent. 10 out of 10 from us.
