I like this place. The building is nice. Considerately converted. They don’t have any place to eat unless you want literally a pizza so not good for staying for work and the gym that was available is now private so can’t use. They do have parking and the hotel itself is nice. Staff are friendly as well.

At first glance e the room looked incredible, we had been moved from a room with no windows to a ground floor room with huge windows and lots of space. However, the room was directly next to the entrance hall and the walls are paper thin so we were disturbed continuously. The hot water went off at 8am and we were unable to shower before leaving. Even after informing hotel staff it still took almost 3 hours to be switched back on. Location is okay if you don't mind a walk but it's far from central.

We didn’t think it was a four star hotel after staying there. Upon checkout they charged us £10 for being late? Not sure if that’s a normal thing here but it’s not in Ireland. Staff upon check in were lovely but the one checking out was a bit rude. The £10 fee would leave a sour taste in your mouth even though it’s not a huge amount of money it just seemed scabby.

Had a very poor experience with the staff as they were rude and behaved very badly. Lloyd in particular who was a manager there. We were given ambiguous information about parking charges prior to booking. When arrived we were told it’s 14.50 per night. We had an oversight to these charges as the booking went through 3 sites, booking, hotels.com and their own website but the person on the phone from the hotel wasn’t specific about the charges. Lloyd was so rude despite having our 50 gbp deposit said that will call the police or tow our car out forcefully. We hadnt refused to pay was clarifying the information. But the staff and the manager was rude and didn’t want to listen or hear us out. We gave it up at the end, even though the staff who spoke on the phone agreed it could be misinterpreted. The hotel has no windows and beds are very tiny and uncomfortable Matress. It’s tucked away from town in a poor location / rundown area. With such appalling service and staff we will recommend do not visit or book this place. I hope the senior management look at this and take action against Lloyd. Some of other reviews are on the same lines.

On first impressions the room was okay, however I had an incident in the morning where I was woken up by banging on the door and a lady claiming she was a “manager” she then decided to open the door which I thought was weird and a breach of privacy. Very bad customer service and workers who don’t understand hotel policy’s and peoples privacy. Do not recommend to anyone unless they want to see the manager in their room in the morning. :)

Room spacious and very comfortable. Good size bathroom with lovely shower. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of choice. Every member of staff were very friendly and helpful. Second time we have stayed here and would definitely go back again. Thank you to all at the Ainscow

I stayed here during 2020 when I was running out of productivity while working from home for such a long time. I stayed in their mezzanine room twice and god for the price of the room I felt like I was staying in a luxury room in London. It was spacious, comfortable and clean. The staff are very nice too. I wanna go back again!!!!!! I hope they will gain traction because they are nothing but nice to me when I book rooms.

we stayed for my 20th birthday and we're really happy with the room. however, the towels had big black marks on and holes in. the grout needs a good clean around the bath in room 105. the bath mat had mould on it and the window wouldn't close properly. this is just things you can improve on. the overall cleanliness was good but just those little nicks.

From the start a wonderful welcome . Lovely room spacious and comfortable. Accommodated that I had to have an early breakfast and arranged for me to get served early thank you to the very nice American gentleman and the breakfast staff . All the Staff were lovely and friendly . Gentlemen who worked at the bar even remembered I had an exam and asked how I had done the next evening. Lovely lady on the bar who was chatty which I welcomed as I was staying there alone .I could go on and on … they are a credit to the hotel , a great team. I will definitely book again and stay . Thank you so much to you all
