Beers are so reasonably priced its unreasonable! Nice beer garden, sometimes a little busy. Plenty of room in doors, and they had live music before covid, assuming that will return?

·

It's quirky. Nice location overlooking river. Outside could do with a little weeding but drink more and you won't notice it.

·

Quite chilled atmosphere beer garden nice overlooking the river irwell, foods nice pubs run by students who do a pretty good job and on the ball. You won't be disappointed

·

Used to be a decent pub. Landlord is just a goon now who threatens workmen in high viz’s they will be breathalysed before leaving and can only be served 2 pints . Better pubs in the area

Great friendly pub with river views. Love it 😎

Thank you for a brilliant time today. (As part of a walking group, visiting the museum). I enjoyed the meal, chats, banter & laughs. Especially your playlist, 'age appropriate', made it a special day. Sure we'll be back. Thank you and appreciated. 😀

Poor customer service from white male bartender. Purchased two sharers (veggie chilli nachos and cauliflower wings) both very small portion sizes and bad value for money. Bar and outdoor area are nice and the food that was served tasted very good.

Really enjoyed the atmosphere and the music was just my type of thing. The food was absolutely delicious (although there was no tartare sauce with the scampi) but it's definitely a place I would eat at more often (perhaps even more than wetherspoons).

Great place to drink a beer and eat something quickly. Different kinds of beer and foot (also has a menu for kids!). The atmosphere is nice and quiet.

A bit of a hidden gem. Most people go past this on the main road without thinking. It has live open mic nights which are cultured af. Good spirit and the pints are medium price which is good for the city centre. It's large on the inside, but with tight seating for conversation.Good views of the river when having a smoke. Good place to walk from.Dog friendly and has good inclusive values for all people.A relaxing place to end your day if you are on your way home out of town from work.Sometimes busy.
