Food has vastly improved. Prices very reasonable. Food well presented and tasty. Staff need to clean up the tables in the restaurant/pub. Takes very little time to make things ckean.

It's just bad. I used to rate hungry horse but its so bad now. Low quality food prepared by people who don't care about their jobs. Kitchen staff got confused when we ordered a side of fries to go with a wrap that doesn't come with fries, and didn't give us the fries that came with a burger. Told them of the mistake. Still didn't get the fries. Burger described on the menu as "smothered in sauce". Smeared. It was smeared with sauce. I could go on. At least is was hot when it came out

First rating I gave was 5 stars as couldn't fault it. Yesterday however was a disaster, ordered half a roast chicken, thought it looked a bit odd as I have never been served roast chicken without Crispy skin. First bite was stone cold tested it with my finger and the whole chicken was ice cold. The waitress couldn't be more apologetic even though it has nothing to do with her . She gave me back 9 pound even though the meal is 11 pound on the menu. I was offered another main course for free so ordered a burger , my partner had finished his meal there was nobody left in the pub ordering food they'd all been and gone , 25 minutes later still no burger ( it didn't even take 25 minutes for are main course to come out when the place was busy ) 30 mins gone I felt sick now and not a soul came over . I jst got up left and went to mcdonalds instead.

This green king pub/restraunt on switch island retail park I by far the most opulent 'Greens' that I have visited so far. The entire venue was sparkling so it was clear that there was a very effective cleaning schedule going on. I had the vegan fish and chips which arrived promptly after ordering and was just enough to fill me up.This venue is on a trading park so the view outside is pretty grim but that is more than compensated for by the decor inside. They seem to have gone for a Victorian carnival atmosphere with use of deep reds and soothing greens aplenty. They have struck the balance really well making it very tasteful.

Went mid afternoon on Valentines day expecting it to be quite chaotic but was atmosphere was great and food times were excellent, have been to other hungry horse pubs and ordered similar food but this was much better! Great value for money. My first time going in a long time but will definitely be returning soon!

Went valentine night, friendly staff, food was good. A couple of negatives: The coffee machine wasn't working, The venue was cold. With portable blow heaters around the venue. Overall good would return

So disappointed with our visit today. Luckily we go often and know it's not normally like that. Young lad who served me was lovely. But this was the 3rd time of going to the bar as. The first 2 times we went they didn't have the food in we wanted to order. Neither did that have hit drinks on. Slightly disappointed but got over this as being from a hospitality background do understand how difficult getting stock is... Food we did order was lovely! We never have any problems with the food we eat. The kitchen seem to always do well. However the service from the young blonde girl with glasses on was appalling threw the meals on the table and my chips come off the plate. She said oops I'll go get more chips. She then returned with chips throwing them and the tin off condiments on the table too with no further comments or apology. I understand times are hard in hospitality, but it's tough for everyone. We come to support the baker's dozen, when I know my own pub is struggling and I haven't taken a wage in 2 yrs. I understand what it is to support one another and the pressures everyone at every level, must be feeling at the moment..... If you don't want to work in hospitality, don't! Im sure you are replaceable!

Ordered from the breakfast menu. When the food arrived there was no eggs on either meal, when we quizzed the waitress she informed us that their was no eggs and she forgot to tell us. The tomato on the vegetarian breakfast tasted like it had been cooked on the same grill as meat which put my partner off her meal. On the big breakfast there was more fat than actual bacon. The butter that come with the toast looked like it had been left out uncovered since Christmas. I won't be going back as we've felt unwell since we left the place.

Ordered lasagna and received half a lasagna (see pic). I was asked by the waitress if everything was OK, I said no, take a look at this meal. She had it replaced and came back with a full lasagna.

Quietish, not dead but just comfortably slow. Food was excellent. Service good and staff pleasant. Do not get the crown of burgers unless you can eat for England !
