Bistro moulin in Sefton

fabulous food, lovely staff and really mellow atmosphere....couldn't recommend highly enough 5 ☆☆☆☆☆

First time here tonight, very attentive friendly staff couldn't do enough for you. Olives, Chorizo King Prawns were Stunning and presented Michelin* and just enough portion, Lamb and Duck mains were again presented lovely and cooked to perfection , House Red was good .. Atmosphere was very relaxed with nice music, Sat in bar area after to finish with a drink and cheese board... met the chefs who were friendly and appreciative of Praise.. all round lovely night there, we will defo be back

Seems to be in decline. Had no Sardines (reason I went there) and also the fish stew looked nothing like its picture with normal prawns instead of king prawns or langustine. Hope it comes back and improves.

Small friendly place to dine, not huge - cosy. Although the food is exceptionally of high quality, the menu never changes so can be become a little boring going there often, we frequent it only occasionally. Parking on site is very limited - 4 vehicles, but on road parking is available with no restrictions. Waiter service is very good too.

Absolutely abominable waitresses. The service was slow with a full three tables occupied. I had to wait an inordinate length of time for my plates to be collected. Whereupon I asked for the bill and had to wait nearly quarter of an hour for it after asking a second time. I can only wonder how dreadfully slow the service at this place would be if they had any more customers to serve. Half capacity and I'd probably have finished digesting the meal by the time I was able to leave the place. The food itself was passable. Just a pity the waiting was so slack. I work in catering for the Ministry of Defence and I'd expect to end up on the bread line if I was this incompetent.

Went tonight early as grandson has homework ! small family meal to celebrate wifes 70th birthday .food stunning , service friendly and wecoming .Reluctant to tell too many people in case we cant get booked in future !At

Live so close but this lovely restaurant escaped my attention until tonight. Great food and conducive atmosphere for a reasonable price. Suckling pig was awesome.....meaning wholesome. A definite yes and for a future regular haunt. Thanks

Gorgeous setting and even better food! Will upload pics at a later date as this meal blew our minds! The service was friendly and prompt. Elegant stylish a ten out of ten!

Excellent dinner tonight with 9 of us! We all enjoyed our 2 courses which were beautifully cooked! Excellent service and and welcoming staff!
