Nice place was very busy. Staff handled it quite well. Considering there was a dance troop performing. Could have done with more staff., those there did well. Drinks pricey. Still if you go the pub and want a drink. In this day and age. Never had the food so cannot comment. It looked nice. Though

Lovely food, attentive helpful staff and great atmosphere. Thoroughly enjoyed our visit. Our lovely young waitress Erin was particularly great. Kept us topped up with drinks, checked everything was OK and chatted to us. A credit to you.

Never left a review ever but we got our starter and told a wait for our food. Should have been informed prior to the starter but had to wait over an hour between starter and main. Fries practically cold and burger as dry as the desert. Other meal couldn’t be eaten it was that bad and cold. Seen better food on Ramseys Kitchen Nightmare.

We had a lovely fun day today and I especially like the idea of a different themed quiz each time instead of the bog standard general knowledge quiz I think it brings a lot of different people in who maybe would not normally go to a Harry Potter quiz this evening was great and we are looking forward to the Marvel one next month. The host (I’ve forgotten his name sorry) was fantasticVery tasty meal too We’ll be back soon for your next MARVELous quiz.

Was told in arrival that there was an hour wait for food. 10/10 for honesty. Ordered drinks and the food came 45 mins later. Was absolutely worth the wait! Best mixed grill I've ever had from any pub! Two for one menu so payed under 30 pounds for two main meals and two drinks. Excellent service and hospitality. Would never go anywhere else for a mixed grill again!

Picturesque externally but inside a rather ordinary pub, edible but rather boring standard grub and somewhat dark pub. Not awful but there are better options nearby. 2for1 deal on mains makes prices tolerable but not great. I really wouldn’t bother. Location is quite nice with pretty church across the road. Staff and service pleasant -toilets could be improved!

First time been for a meal, not disappointed.Booking was not made till quite late Saturday afternoon, 6 adults & 4 children, but accommodated very well, even tho quite busy.Food was exceptional. The 241 offer knocked quite a considerable amount off the bill, so well worth the visit.

Beautiful pub, very friendly staff, Hannah is a credit to the bootle arms! Couldn’t do enough especially for my boys bringing board games over, kept them entertained. Lovely food we have never been before until today and were recommended. We will certainly be back.

Served prompt, staff all really lovely and gave great service from the younger girl on the bar who was really chatty and friendly to the other waiting staff who were reallyPleasant despite it probably being towards the end of their shift. The food was great, majority of us had roast dinners which were delicious. Lovely free and easy atmosphere and great afternoon had by all 8 of us xxx

They catered on a Monday for a party of 17 and did a very good job. The staff were great and nothing was too much trouble. The food was good and excellent value, everyone enjoyed it. Thank you Bootle Arms!!
