Really nice food. Large portions, very friendly staff and courgette fritters with sea salt are to die for. Will definitely be back when next in Southport.

Thought we would give this place a try after seeing it had reopened and I'm so glad we did!Starters were very different to the normal offerings at an Italian which was great. I had a fillet steak for main which was cooked to perfection and had a lovely sauce, blue cheese and parma ham and homemade chips. My partner had risotto which he said was also delicious. The service was also brilliant, very attentive and the owner was lovely to chat to. We enjoyed it so much we have booked again for next weekend!

Had a lovely meal at this restaurant. Restaurant has new owners who were so friendly and really looked after us. All food freshly prepared and owners have done a great job on the interior. Music was charming. Delighted that restaurant was nice and warm as always worry about being cold when trying new places. Will definitely be going back.

Absolutely fantastic food, could not fault it. We were in Southport for the weekend and fancied Italian. What a find! Apparently this was the second night open for the new owners, but the service was professional and very friendly. I can highly recommend the lamb shank, and the mash was super creamy. Only wish we lived closer for a return visit!

Very, very expensive. Food isn't great.I ordered lamb shank in rosemary and red wine sauce. The one arrived was almost identical to the boil in a bag from Aldi. For me and my son it came to £76Won't be back.

Terrible service!!We should have this place was going to be awful as it was the only restaurant on Lord street that wasn't fully booked but we thought we'd give it a go.The score inside was awful and the tables weren't very clean but we tried to give them the benefit of the doubt. Anyway, after being served our drinks and getting a menu we sat waiting for ages for someone to take our order. We watched as the 3 waitresses slowly sauntered about with miserable faces not once looking in our direction to see if we were ok. We were hoping to grab their attention to order but they seemed in a world of their own. When we managed to grab one of them and asked if we could order the waitress said to another one 'take the order for this table' there was no smile or any type of service. Another couple came in and sat near our table and saw what happened and walked out. We then asked them for the bill for the drinks and left. The worst service I have ever experienced and it isn't that hard to put a smile on your face, be nice and be aware of the customers you have to serve. So glad be left as no doubt the food would have been as sub standard as the service!Don't bother going!!
