I have always found dobbies lovely. The staff are caring & understanding. The drinks & food are delicious. It's the offer of introducing a friend & getting £5 to spend within the store. There was nothing to say before you purchased that you couldn't use it on food. Or other areas of the shop, it stated the garden plants but if you wanted a reduced one it couldn't be used on that. The voucher can only be used on full priced plants or gardening items, it should have stated that when advising of the £5 to spend in store.

Love wondering around even if I don’t buy anything. Lovely staff. Very clean.

Went for breakfast today the quality and taste of the bacon sausage and black pudding was really nice but the food was prepared and left under the heat lamp until you paid. Had to go one section to order breakfast then queue up again to order and collect your coffee then queue up again to pay and then your food was brought to the table. Overall food and drink was good but the shambolic system in place to pay and collect coffee would put me off going again as can get same quality and faster service in other places for the same price

Vastly overpriced, charged £2.10 for a normal can of diet coke! There is a need to look at the organisation of the restaurant. You have to queue for hot food and then join an even larger slower queue for drinks and then queue again for the tills. Danger of hot food served before you're anywhere near sitting at a table.

Called in for coffee and a scone, shocked at the price of the add ons, very small pot of jam £0.65 , clotted cream £0.95! Coffee was expensive but okay. The guy serving was miserable but the cashier was friendly enough. The worst bit was it was really cold in the Cafe, all in all a disappointment! Won’t be returning!

The restaurant is looking a little tired from when it first opened, but still a great place to have a drink or meal. Has a good plant collection too. The addition of the Sainsbury's concession is a definite bonus.

I thought the meal was very poor. Over priced and tasteless ( fish and chips ) my friend had meat pie and chips which was OK, but he had to pay extra for a bit of veg. I think it's over priced, very disappointing. And won't be recommending it to anybody else. The staff looked miserable, not happy at all. One good thing, I got a full refund.

Felt compelled to leave a review after our disappointing experience with the SantaPaws event for dogs. Cost £6.99 and was nothing more than a Santa on a bench right in the middle of the shop, no grotto, no Christmas atmosphere, nothing. Extremely disappointing. Most people would do this with children aswell, can’t imagine the disappointment a child would feel with this experience. Feel like we’ve been ripped off, would not recommend
