Hare and Hounds in Sefton

I really enjoyed my roast dinner that I had delivered and the pudding was great. They should put the gravy in a container , it soaked into the cardboard.

Nice food but unfortunately only 2 stars as my wife had to wait for her roast dinner 10 minutes after we received ours , very annoying as it was all ordered together. We asked for the cauliflower cheese to be warmed up as took so long for the dinner to arrive. We spent a few Bob in there as well on drinks.. so thought might have received an apology but nowt.. so will we go again 🤔.. not sure.

Very let down by our meal and experience in general tonight. We had visited for a birthday meal, most of the stuff on the menu was unavailable and the food we did receive was tasteless and of a poor standard. No apology from the staff despite long waits for the food and having to request multiple times for the table to be cleaned. I will not be returning and will be warning others not to go also.

Great service. Thanks to the young girl with the plats. The ribeye stakes were outstanding.

Bought a drink which had to be taken straight back as the glass smelt of cat wee. Waited 1 1/2 hours for food which was nothing special. Had to ask for cutlery and salt as none on table. Table booked for 6.30 finished eating main meal at 8.40pm. Never going again.

Staff were very friendly, but food wasn't good bland and not very warm veg was either hard and undercooked or left in the warmer for to long wouldn't recommend eating here but nice to have a drink

Great food and drink with friends, could have done with being a bit warmer on such a lousy night. Very enjoyable.

My meal of "Asparagus and basil pesto Pasta" yesterday was inedible. I complained twice to staff and was told this is how they serve this meal. No Asparagus, hardly any pesto and the pasta meal had been fried!!!! No "hard cheese breadcrumbs", whatever they are. Some staff had a disinterested attitude to my complaint. Won't be in again with friends.!!!

The place nice friendly but the food on reflection seeing the menu and price would not have been my choice with a group of 7 did not want to make a fuss l would certainly have drinks but not food shame so looking forward to the get together would rather have paid 3 times the price but not for micro wave food our friends steak pie black edges on pastry could not get knife through it was awful sorry but it's as l found the food experience mw

Sunday lunch has a limited menue. Started were not so good. Chicken wings were good. Mushrooms and calamari not so good. Crumbed and deep fried 1980s style. Main course okay a bit dry and chips were cold.
