Hadn’t been for a good while after poor service and food whilst ok but not great, picked up Patrick this morning whilst in conversation told me what changes had been made and said things were a lot better now so booked a few hours later on the back of this. Service choice of drinks and quality of food outstanding the best steak I’ve had in a few years. Thank you. Pass on positive comments to Patrick please

Good and friendly service drinks selection was ok. No ales, food seemed expensive. Clearly aimed at upmarket. Overall nice to drop in for a few drinks, food if I was feeling flush.

Very very nice place, a good number of choices on the menu and both of our dishes were excellent. Not cheap pub grub, you get what you pay for. Highly recommend this restaurant.

Visited last night for family meal, been many times and service and food is excellent normally.Unfortunately last night whilst the food was lovely once again the service wasn't great, girl was very friendly but at times we felt forgotten about as staff were busy cleaning tablets very long wait between main and dessert. More of an issue though was the temperature it was bloody cold. I'm guessing staff kept leaving a door open which kept dropping the temperature but then heating went off about 9pm.Hopefully just an off night as its normally a great experience there.

Booked a table at 14:30pm. We arrived early. People was still sitting at our table that was booked for us, instead we got placed next to a family, which we did not like!Instead of ordering tea with cake, we ordered lunch. Food service was quick, but waitress was coughing, was wearing a mask but......I ordered steak priced £8.95, but, I think he was the manager, came over and said' sold the last steak would sirloin be ok, still the same price. The meals arrived quickly, as did the drinks.Very pricey!Wouldn't recommend bringing babies or toddlers! The toilets could do with a clean, cobwebs at bottom of toilet doors.Hand wash too close to the toilets.

Food is really good but service is very very slow. Order drinks on arrival 20 mins later they arrived mains took 50 mins. 3 hours for 2 mains and desserts with drinks can't fault the staff all pleasant but must be run off their feet. Only think we didn't even wait one minute for was the bill!?

Really really amazed by the kindness of the staff, the quality of the food, and the knowledge of international menus. I strongly recommend to anyone who wants to enjoy quality food with a posh presentation at a very reasonable price.Congratulations: you've got 5 * from me.I am very impressed. If you want to impress someone, this is the place to do it !

Definatly Style over SubstanceFood looked nice but wasn't actually very good.Wanted a mixed kebab but without Lamb and was told no as they were too busy to just have the chicken and Chorizo one not very helpful.Chorizo was chewy almost rubbery & chicken was hard and over cooked don't get me wrong the kebab looked great on the plate just didn't really taste of anything well apart from cucumber there were loads of them.Starters weren't very good either prawns were quite bland and I had the chorizo but sent that back (wish I'd have been quick enough to change my kebab to just chicken) and got the haloumi fries which were ok. Wouldn't return even the deserts were bland its a nice place but £5.45 a pint is just ridiclious and everything simply looked better than it was.Edit - Unable to comment on your reply so adding it here.We did inform a member of staff at the time and she was quite obnoxious and unhelpful.

The service is second to none. I don't think I've ever eaten at a friendlier restaurant.Check out the offer deals on their website and download a menu. They are so compelling that it's difficult not to go.The gluten free menu covers most of the a la carte menu. You'll have to look closely to spot the substitute itemsCheck out the photos of my gambis pol pil and the iberian pork with black pudding, chorizo, spinach and fancy mash. It was simply divine. The pork crackling was crispy and the pork was simply juicy and melt in the mouth. Fantastic standard of cooking for this price. Great chefs, really great chefsSo book and enjoy a lovely meal in convivial surroundings and finish your beautiful bottle of wine in the lovely garden like we did especially if its a warm summer evening.10/10 easily. Thankyou Ego's
