Everything else is fine but don't order the nachos. After recently discovering nachos as a starter at The Edge, just past The Windsor pub and absolutely loving them, I thought I'd order some here.Harvester's nachos consist of a load of tortilla chips from a packet with squirty, American cheese that had gathered at the bottom so I didn't find it until later on and, as expected, guacamole and sour cream.Considering it's a restaurant, I just anticipated that the chips wouldn't be packet chips and all in all, they were very disappointing. Also ordered the chicken skewers. The meat was lovely and tender but, once again, the accompanying rice was packet bought, microwave rice and if it wasn’t, it certainly looked and tasted like it.I think they need to up their game.Gordon Ramsey would have a field day in there!

Yesterday a friend of mine asked me if I’d like to go eat out, so I suggested this place as I’ve been a fair few times before and usually can’t recommend the place enough, however on this occasion I was left disappointed, partially embarrassed and overall let down by the place I once held high regards for. When my steak come I had to send it back because it had be over cooked, then when it come the second time there was too much food on the plate for the size of the meal that I had, tried to tuck into my steak and my peas went everywhere, absolute chaos. So furious with my meal I tried to soften the blow with a dessert, when my chocolate fudge cake came, it was dry and flakey with an almost burned taste to it. Don’t know what’s going on, must be a new chef of some sort but judging by his dishes I don’t believe cooking is his true passion. The man needs to quit this job and follow his dreams. But I’ll let the place off just this once as every other time it’s been phenomenal.

First of all I want to say the staff were great! However the food on this occasion was severely below par, once back to the car stomach started doing somersaults, garlic bread for starter defi wasn't my cup of tea, was very thick with far too much cheese, you could barely tell what it was for my main I ordered the chicken skewers but the chicken felt as though it was slightly undercooked, I ordered it with a side of rice which was very very dry, most of it was inedible, I didn't manage to finish the meal, I have been on other occasions when the food has been better which is why I haven't went lower than 3 stars, it may have just been one of those days and the staff don't deserve anything lower, hopefully if there's a next time it will be better.

Came for a meal with our kids yesterday after a play date and really enjoyed ourselves. Our waitress kirsty was lovely and really looked after us. The kids loved the salad bar which is great as a parent and the build your own sundaes were a huge hit.

Really disappointed once again. The restaurant and staff are really nice but the food is not great. Ordered steak and despite asking for medium it came well done boardering on burnt and dry. The BBQ chicken with bacon was also overcooked and extremely dry as too was the burger. The ice cream sundaes we ordered were actually melted and couldn't tell if it was ice cream as was a sloppy mess. The plates are on the small side for the price. Not great.

We in last week for the 50% off mains deal. It was very busy and we did not have a booking but the lady who greeted us at the door said she would fit us in. We were seated at a window table and within minutes a very smiley red headed lady ( think her name was Gem) came over and took our drinks order. She was very friendly and made us feel welcome even though she was running around like crazy! Our food arrived surprisingly quickly and was hot, tasty and just what the doctor ordered. Our waitress came to check on us a couple of times to see if we needed anything else and had a little chat and giggle with us when doing our bill. She clearly loves her job as she seemed in her element! We will be back.

Have to say me and my boyfriend had an amazing experience today. At the door we were greeted by Reece, he was lovely so friendly and welcoming when we arrived. His service was fantastic he really went above and beyond for us, even though I was a pain and ordered the wrong thing due to baby brain. The food was amazing came quickly and was cooked perfectly. Will definitely be going again, and Reece is such a credit to the restaurant. Xx

Are you looking for a restaurant to eat after hours of shopping? We visited Harvester Aintree Park for the first time. Harvester serves a decent lunch menu.We were seated within minutes upon entering the restaurant. Due to COVID19, the salad bar is not self-service. You will need to notify a waiter to serve you at the salad bar.We had a positive experience at this restaurant. The salad bar had a lot of selections, foods were served promptly, and the price was reasonable. The only thing that made us somewhat uncomfortable was, this waiter (Annie) took our plates away angrily, and the utensils almost landed on our arms. But, perhaps, the restaurant was busy or she was experiencing some personal issues. She could be friendlier to the customers.

Unfortunately i have come to the point where i have to write this review. I don’t usually do reviews but I couldn’t not do one. Firstly would like to point out the good bits. The waitress was nice and understanding, the food tasted slightly above average. Now the negatives. Medium steak was served rare. Medium rare steak was served rare. Took a long time to originally place our order. Then when i was telling our waitress what we wasn’t happy about. Another member of staff came over to the table and tried to tell me i was wrong and attempted to justify why things was the way they was. Apparently the harvester are the only place to offer an “Onion ring nest” because when i asked why was the onion rings all stuck together and presented horrendously, she said it was an onion ring nest and thats how it should look. Now google has never heard of such a dish and neither has anyone i know. Either way, wether it was intentional or not. It looked awful, it was not what was advertised and im just shocked as it was only yesterday i was saying my favourite restaurant was Harvester. I don’t think i will be going again, unless i have £65 to burn. But i would like to say thank you to the young waitress who listened to us and offered to amend the meal. And to the more senior member of staff who knew that we wasn’t happy and didn’t approach us. It showed how little you cared about your job.

Big Dirty combo it was very not good. The meat was terrible. It was not grilled or fried in any way. It looked and tasted as if it had been cooked. In addition, it was very spicy, which made it impossible to eat it. The rest of the dishes were average. The taste was in no way exceptional. Supermarket ready meals that can be reheated in a microwave oven taste better. This is my private opinion. Someone else may say that all is well.
