Lings on Kings in Sefton

Just picked up a take away from Lings and this was the crispy vegetable spring rolls. I have to say this is the worst Chinese meal I have ever experienced. Ended up throwing most in the bin

What more could you want… quality food at a reasonable price. Spent New Year’s Eve in here for a few hours and the atmosphere and staff where amazing. More importantly though, the food was 10 out of 10. An incredible authentic Chinese restaurant. Thankyou.

Spent over £50 with Lings as we had guests staying we opted for delivery which you still have to pay for! Ordered vegetarian banquet x2 we received special fried rice containing prawns and beef, the order over 20 minutes late no apologies we ordered two desserts received one and that was wrong! Felt sorry for the delivery guy who was very courteous and professional and ultimately embarrassed, my advice don't pay cash pay with a card using just eat as you can claim a refund immediately, the owner called me asking to return the incorrect order, poor service very disappointed but plenty of Chinese restaurants to choose from just not this one I'm afraid. We did receive a partial refund the delivery person was fantastic 👏

Best Chinese food in north west! We travel over an hour at least once a month to go to lings on lings! We love it and worth the trip! Great food and atmosphere! Ling is wonderful and so kind! We are so grateful to everyone when we visit is a super restaurant full of great people and fantastic food!

Ordered ribs in black bean sauce and special fried rice. I have to say that it is the best in Southport. I could taste all the flavours. No msg unlike other places. I don't know how they did it but every now and again there was another flavour experience. The food danced on my taste buds. It was an adventure of a meal. Every morsel was a delightful treat. The delivery charge was only £2.50 but they gave us prawn crackers for free. Amazing food.

Good food again at best Chinese restaurant in southport! Amazing choices and everything super fresh! Christian one of the waiter is very nice guy and charming!

Had set menu b. Really enjoyed all of it. The staff were very good. Service was very good. We had plenty to eat. We were offered more food. We were not rushed. Place was spotless. Next time we come to Southport we WILL eat here again. Total cost for 2 with drinks very reasonable

Just ordered from Lings On Kings .food arrived and none of it was cooked from fresh.The salt n pepper chicken was borderline raw, the chips were that soggy with oil we couldn’t eat them, my bbq ribs were overcooked and chewy like they had been left under a heat lamp.I rang and spoke to the restaurant and they sent out another portion of salt n pepper chicken. By the time it arrived my son was being sick in the bathroom from trying some of the chicken.I told the delivery guy we were not happy with any of the food and he should take it all back. He said he couldn’t because of covid.I rang the restaurant back and spoke to a woman that I think was the manager.I was repeatedly talked over as I tried to explain our predicament with her telling me over and over again we can’t do anything as we only get 50% of the money and we don’t get it until the end of the month. Also that I should ring uber to get a refund not them.Then she put the phone down on me.

absolutely fantastic food. everything was succulent and mouth watering. will be definatley coming back. very friendly staff and very tentative. food presentation on the plate looks great too but taste amazing. this has to be the best spare ribs I have ever tasted in the world.
