Marine Lake Cafe in Sefton

The place is good the entertainment is great......but if you get a bad beer they totally refuse to change it.....the answer I got on returning a carling lager was what do you want me to do about it I replied change it.....he did this but charged me 4.20.....customer service at its best eh

Lovely, good to sit indoors on a wet day? But better in good weather as they have live music outside

Popped in on a cold windy day for a coffee, very welcoming, took our dog in too. Food looked lovely, plan to go back and eat very soon, lovely and clean. Usually have a singer on who's pretty good, so makes for a fun atmosphere

Went in with my 5 month old and 2 year old. Give me 5 month old a feed and 2 year old had some crisps and a drink. Went to change a nappy. Toilets disgusting freezing cold and smell. Not a great place for a change but it was needed. When I came out of the toilets I could smell smoke like a cigarette though someone had just been out for a smoke. Getting children back in the pram I turned round and say an old man sat there smoking a cigarette indoors in the cafe next to me and my children. Think this was the owner or someone who worked there as I had seen him go behind the counter whilst I was there. Thought your not meant to smoke indoors especially when customers are feeding their children.

One of our favourite day out spots! Local chip shop for lunch them "after dinner drinks" down by the pier. This visit was a wet one but we just stayed inside. Normally live music played but not possible in rain.

Nice place, great outdoor entertainment on a sunny day. Spoilt by fact I queued for 10 minutes at the bar for a mixture of drinks but was refused a coffee. Their excuse…..the queue behind me was too long. I had to queue again at the cafe next door despite them advertising coffee on the menu and a working coffee machine. Disappointing customer service.

Been several times, fantastic friendly variation of singers, great audience participation. Bar staff very friendly. They also do food, I have not tried the food yet. It's a really fantastic free entertainment place, as long as you at least buy a drink, or you can watch the singers from the pier.

Great little place live music lots of outside seating prices not too bad either

I have stopped here a few times now whilst I have been on weekend breaks in southport. I stopped again weekend just gone just hours before the euro final kicked of. It was very busy as it always is it's very popular. There's us a live singer/do He's great. We were served our drinks outside at the table quite fast to say how busy they were. And the prices were reasonable. I will always come back here every time

Great fun, great entertainment, decent pint, miserable old b behind the bar but all in all great place to be, enjoyed a good day out here
