Food was lovely and hot, really fresh. But they were over run with teens making the place an absolute mess. One of the customers told them to clean it up, they were so entitled (the teens). Maybe you should have a rule of only 4 at a time or something because it was a bit much and they made it a bit awkward to be there woth little kids using the kids high chair as a rubbish dump for their wrappers that they had NO intention of cleaning up!

The picture is not the McDonald's I visited, that is Switch Island, I was in Bootle New Strand. But, to answer the question, the service is quite slow, the turnover of staff is unbelievable, most of the staff are students looking to make some pocket change, nothing wrong with that of course but, lacks consistency.

Good place to eat very clean. Fast service and good food enjoyable experience and it's close to southport beach.

Worst McDonald's I've ever been to. Waited 18 minutes for a burger and it wasn't that busy. They were to busy just standing around chatting and when they did work it was snail pace. Had loads of food just sitting under the heat lamp and then they realised a screen was off and had loads of orders to complete. Somebody even asked for a refund they waited that long. In essence they were that slow they've gathered moss upon themselves.

Wrong items in delivery bag but right address on bag 🙈🙈 thanks to uber managed to get a refund but now hungry as only got half my order and nobody is picking up the phone

When you order your food and get it delivered and it’s more colder than what your milkshake is. Good job I’ve got a microwave but I shouldn’t have to be using it. I have give them a few chances thinking it maybe because they get stuck in traffic. I would be quicker on my peddle bike.

If possible, avoid this place. Burger King over the road or subway is the better option in this area. Overrun with delivery drivers and little gangs of kids who staff seem happy to let roam around. Upstairs area seems to be closed quite often, just feels chaotic. Hard to relax and enjoy your food in peace.

The staggering level of consistent incompetence is almost impressive. If you order from here, expect the bare minimum. We ordered on the app, drove to the restaurant 10 minutes later and still waited 20 minutes for our food. When we got it home, a McPlant burger was missing, meaning our vegetarian friend had to miss out and just eat fries. The food that WAS included was cold and there was no salt on any of the fries. There were also no sauces whatsoever even though we asked for multiple. I don't know why they make you choose which sauces you want with chicken selects because they almost always forget to include any.Absolutely dreadful service.

Even tho its my local (tho work), I can't give it 5 stars. I completely understand on deliveries in this current situation but in my opinion its ruining this restaurant as it hasn't got a drive tho. Just barely get inside the restaurant but too many bodies and vehicles in my opinion. God help them when everything reopens and paying customers are allowed back in to sit.Update on this reviewI Still agree with what I said previously, however they have controlled the deliveries drivers a little bit better. But these days you can see they are short staffed but that's the same everywhere else

First time I've been here & I was shocked to say its a McDonald's. Dine in was closed although lots of people was just sitting in eating there meals on the ground floor. There was no one cleaning any of the tables once people had finished. The place was over run with delivery drivers all sat by the window as you walk in & down by the collection point so you couldn't get past properly. I felt like staff didn't have a clue what was going on & service was very slow because it seemed like they didn't have enough staff. Lots of staffs hair was hanging out & one was even moving her hair with her bare hands then handling food. And then to top it off the only toilet avaliable is the disabled one which was absolutely filthy & has a terrible smell so I refused to change my baby's bum in there. Honestly needs closing down
