Mikes Fish Bar in Sefton

Bought a Traditional Fish and Chips dinner for me and my Mum . We live 15 mins away. The food was still piping hot. Fish and chips were hot and delicious the best we have had in a long time. Loved the Traditional box they came in. Will definitely visit again and recommend to friends and family .😘❤

Very clean chippy. Staff nice quick service very good menu. Good mix of traditional and Chinese meals etc. Worth a visit

Fish is fantastic and easily the best in the local area. Let down by the chips which are so so as they always end up soggy and bland. They could do with being thicker and crisper.Good chinese options and can definitely recommed the chicken chow mein

Called in tonight, placed my order and member of staff was lovely. However, as I was standing waiting there was some confusion as she thought another member of staff had taken part of my order. This discussion went on for a few minutes. As a result I double checked my order in the car and an item was missing. They did sort it out but this meant waiting again and the rest of my food was left on the side going cold. I had to ask for it to be kept warm, which was done grudgingly. I was asked to pay more money, which is fine, but I queried total bill as it seemed expensive, and was told 2 pots of mushy peas cost £2.80! Got home to discover I had been given 2 pots of curry instead. My food was also cold so had to be reheated in the microwave.Additionally, the sign on the door said only 4 people allowed inside at a time but the waiting area was full of people. I appreciate it was a busy time but not much social distancing happening at all. No attempt to regulate this either.
