MJ's Drive Thru in Sefton

Came here with my mum, niece and nephew and partner so 5 or us. Never been before and when we was trying to see the flavours there was a couple standing in the way so didn’t know what we wanted, so a woman with dread locks asked what we wanted and we said we was just having a quick look cuz we didn’t get to see before hand, she then asked the people behind us and proceeded to serve 3 groups of people behind us instead of waiting a few extra seconds for Children to decide what flavour they wanted. Her attitude just didn’t seem the best. Then a young girl with brown hair finally served us and she was lovely, Ice cream was nice and a good location don’t appreciate the first woman’s attitude

Always love to call in for a coffee and a piece of cake, always someone to talk with and a great place to people watch, plenty of staff so never a long wait, accessible to everyone, very popular place in beautiful surroundings.

This cafe is in the middle of Sefton Park, it has public toilets too. I bought a couple of scoops of ice cream, it was delicious, they have many different flavours to choose from. It does get very busy on school holidays.

A great place to visit. Set in the beautiful surroundings of Sefton Park, this is a real “Oasis” in the city. The staff are so friendly and always make you feel welcome. Good food, great coffees and a pleasure to go. Thank you to Rachel and all the staff

Don't buy the ice creams, expensive for what they are, we found they lacked flavour, think they have been made with a water base, not milk or cream. Don't mind paying these prices for Carte d'Or, but not this cheap stuff they are serving up.

We have gone for a walk in Sefton Park yesterday 25/03/2022 and is it was nice and warm we ordered some food for a picnic. We ordered a portion of chicken strips with chips for my sister, popcorn chicken with fries for my 4 year old nephew and i (being pregnant) ordered a portion of chips and we also got some drinks. We had the food at around 11-12 and not eaten anything until evening. In the afternoon and then evening we all started to feel bad. My sister has been sick, my nephew complained too about his stomach and me being pregnant have had and still have high fever and stomach pain. Will never ever order food from there again. Be careful as it looks like their food health and safety measures are not followed. Doctors told me we may have got a stomach bug!!! Terrible experience, having to worry now about our health!

So busy.. I think they need to hire more staff..The staff are polite..They could change the menu or add a few more on

Terrible service and extremely rude. Paid for coffee and never got it. Loads of people served until i asked where ours was. They didnt even make it. Then no appology. The blonde girl who was making the coffee just wanted to argue. So we just left without bothering to even hope for an appology.

A lovely ice cream after a wander around the park.Heavenly Honeycomb is my absolute favourite. 🤤🤤🤤

We had a breakfast here. It was the only place open around. The food was good, coffee not so much. However prices are ok and I enjoyed it as the first English breakfast in Liverpool.
