Came here with 8 members of the family for afternoon tea on mothers day, £35 per person for a tiny tray of food and one cup of tea.Was told there would be a singer but all we got was music playing from an iPhone.One of the girls gave each of us a glass of preseco after we complained about not getting what we paid for, then after the bill came they decided to charge us for the glass of preseco.Will never come here again.

Appalling service….. reservation made weeks in advance and cancelled days before the booking. So upset will never use again.

Had to organise a funeral at two days notice staff couldn't have been more helpful took all the stress out of a very stressful situation.tea coffee and buffet all provided at very short notice.cant remember name of gentleman who helped us but couldn't have asked for better service young lad behind bar even offered to come in on his day off to help ifshortstaffed when heard what it is for.would recommend and do nice food and cocktails too which have sampled on many other occasions

Lovely bar, staff very friendly. Good selection of drinks. Bar staff made us a cocktail even though it wasn't on the menu which was nice.

Attended my nephews birthday and graduation, staff were great, food was lovely and the venue is a great little place for celebrations

Visited last night..Fabulous food....loving the new dishes on the menu! Service could have been better tho,slow and disinterested waitress

Health and Safety Risk.For a business that should cater for functions, I expected at least a minimum standard of Health and Safety. My daughter chose to celebrate her 25th birthday at this venue and 50 family and friends were invited. The function was held upstairs with a private bar. Towards the end of the evening one of the BOSE speakers blasting the music out detached itself from the ceiling narrowly missing my fathers head. The shock and horror of it hitting the floor was written all over my fathers face. The bar staff and then owners response was to place the speaker on the table next to my father. No apology, no enquiry as to if my father was ok whatsoever. My day is 77 and recovering from Cancer.Happy to rake in your cash on overpriced drinks.Happy to promote a trendy wine bar theme.Not so happy to look after their customers.Not so happy to make their premises safe for celebrations.With Christmas approaching choose a safer place to enjoy occasion, family and friends.A friend attended a wedding the same evening in the Crosby Comrades Club across the road attended by over 200 people. It went without incident and guests celebrated safely together.I will be reporting this to The Health and Safety Executive.Disgusted .
