I would give a 10/10 for the restaurant and its location. Its a lovely restaurant, a 5-10 minutes walk from Canterbury west station. There is a lake on the side and they have indoors seating and outdoors as well. The embellished outdoor seating with flower pots makes it so lovely to watch for the whole day.

Came here for cocktails a few weekends ago and had a great time. The atmosphere is really cool and while we did have to wait a while to sit down it was worth it. Ordering online makes everything so easy and we found the staff were really friendly!

We came on Saturday for a cocktail master class and wow it was amazing !!!! Josh was absolutely amazing and so accommodating, fun and knowledgeable. He had the patient of a Saint considering it was mums on a wild night out ha ha so thank you so much!!! We then moved down to a cell for more amazing cocktails serviced by other josh ( also amazing) Rose ( so so lovely ) over all we just had the most amazing time so thank you so much ❤️

A nice find at Westgate next to the old gaol house. Well actually part of it is a kind of link between the gate and the old cells at ground level.Anyhow, the food was very nourishing and tasty, a good menu (on paper) where you should be able to find something to your liking. Some interesting cocktails and a lovely IPA.The guys were really nice and welcoming, they were attentive in a friendly way and you don't get the feeling you are being 'processed a delicate act of business and informality i guess.

Delicious vegan roast option! We came here while visiting Canterbury and booked for their Sunday roast. It was honestly one of the best vegan Sunday roasts I've ever had. There was plenty of veggies, the main vegan fillet was delicious and the gravy was superb. Even had a vegan cauliflower cheese which I did not expect. Well worth the money and would recommend for anyone in Canterbury looking for a delicious Sunday vegan roast.

Delicious food and fantastic venue. The upstairs Tower is a great space for private events with a cosy hidden bar, and staff were friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!

Stunning location, really builds on its history and the lightbulbs on the wall showing which table called for an order is just a lovely touch to it.I really love how they kept the old cells and turned them into private booths. Great place for a drink, didnt try the food but am eager to come back another time to try it.

This is a place you must add your visit list at Canterbury. They are nicely located, I love a good location. Clear and defined theme all the way through the building, unlike some other places who are not truly committed. Clean and stylish, the food and drink was of good quality, call bell system added to the experience, as needed to use it just because I didn’t actually have anything to ask for. They where there when I wasn’t expecting them to be. Staff where really friendly and helpful, knowledgeable.

The best burger I think I have probably had.Good selection of drinks too and a nice atmosphere. The staff were also friendly and helpful and the price was just the right side of value, more than a normal burger, but worth it.I would have given it 5 stars, but the toilets were filthy, shame.

Great place, atmosphere was a little boring on this particular day. But the venue is interesting being an old prison cell. Great decor and lovely indoor and outdoor places to sit.
