The only thing I really don't like about weatherspoons is that they don't plat music, it means everyone is talking loudly and it's as if your in a large market hall. The building is nicely decorated. Lots if stairs although there is a ramp. There's a lower and upper seating areas. Bar and toilets on the upper area. Nice outside area to eat and drink in also. Nice cheap food. Pub grub so fairly basic menu as most meals come with chips. It's OK for what it is. Large variety if drinks.

We waited 30mins for our food and drinks order on Friday evening. Our food came first....and I had to ask were our drinks order was when the food arrived. We ordered on the app and sat outside as it was busy at the bar, don't know if that's why our order took so long.

This has got to be one of the worst weatherspoons I've ever been too. Dirty plates and glasses everywhere that seemed to be stacking up rather than disappearing. We ordered drinks via the app they took 20 minutes, then they food we ordered we waited 50 minutes in total for it to come out and when it did, it was wrong. The server had a bad attitude about it all when we mentioned it to him, even though we stated to him we knew it wasn't his fault. The toilets were filthy and had no loo roll and 2 of them had sick init, it was 2pm on the afternoon 🤦‍♀️ We initially thought it was short staffed but after over hearing 2 employees in the bathroom it wasn't the case. The place was utterly filthy, 25 minute drinks and not one memeber of staff had any sense of urgency about them.

We were there early evening for food and drink. We both had fish & chips with pints of San Miguel - food was delicious, lovely and hot and tasty - beer good too. Lovely pub, it was a cold evening so a lovely warm pub was much needed. Staff friendly and helpful. Will definitely visit again when we are there next time.

Filthy place went on Saturday at about 2 and tables were full of old food plates. Cleaned our own table up but really should have left. Big queues at the bar so ordered via the app. Twenty minutes later tables still not cleared and 30 people must have walked in and just walked out because of the mess and still no drinks . I went to the bar twice to ask where they where and could see the order bright red on the screen still not made. I eventually had to stand at the bar and make sure someone made them and I took them to my table 27 minutes after I ordered them. You can’t cancel the app orders or I would have. 45 minutes after arriving in the pub a table near me got cleared. People ate food in there , you will be sick

A great place to meet up with friends, the beer selection is very good with regular & ever changing guest ales. Staff are very polite & efficient & I can't leave a review without mentioning the exceptional value for money.

Can't fault it , if I did it would petty thingsof no importance. What I will say is 3 years back I was paying £3 for my Guinness . TODAY I'M STILL PAYING £3 .A lot of other establishments have put 60p plus and given so many sad luck stories about staff shortage etc and public just pay it.Friend got a Guinness with his meal nearby , £9 and it came out of a can.Excellent value in Wetherspoons.

Nice meal (the chips need a big upgrade!Service only O .K .We went in on two nights running and were served by two different managers who bothDisplayed that their job of serving peopleWas far beneath them!!Price of drinks was great!

This pub has recently been refurbished but on my visit I was a little disappointed, nice new carpet but that was about it,no new tables or chairs or recovering of chairs,I didnt see all of the pub but I thought more care seemed to be taken on the outside of the pub than the inside, its not too bad but wish that the whole place had been gutted inside as would have been really nice. The food was nice, fairly hot, well presented but our main meal was brought out at the same time as our starters!!!
