Sorrento Formby in Sefton

It was a very hot day but the staff were attentive and patient, service was fast and they didn't make us feel rushed even though we took our time.Look forward to trying the outdoor seating some day.

Lovely place, very warm and welcoming staff. Food is exceptional. Its a guarantee you will love the place and food once you visit. We go everytime we are in Formby.

Cannot believe a negative review I have just read. I guess some people just do not appreciate the quality and professionalism of this restaurant. Having eaten at many restaurants across the north west and indeed further afield, there aren’t any restaurants that even come close to this “gem”. Try it and you will not be disappointed. It is friendly, great staff, unbelievably good food and you will want to return. Keep up the fantastic service. Thank you

Sensational Family run attractive restaurant serving exceptional Authentic Italian cuisine. The atmosphere is sophisticated yet relaxed and exudes the essence that the owners care a great deal for this business and their customers. A warm and friendly welcome upon arrival and close personal service from the front of house staff offers the best possible impression. Drinks arrived promptly and orders taken with good explanation of the menu, nice to see the waiting on staff take the trouble to understand what they are serving. Food is freshly prepared so be patient, you won't be disappointed. Nice to also see that the owner takes the time to visit tables and ensure his guests are enjoying their visit, it's those little personal touches that make such a difference. Overall I can not recommend this restaurant highly enough, a spectacular experience all round and we will be sure to visit again very soon. The easiest 5 stars in a very long time.

A great find! Love Italian food, don't know why we haven't been here before. From the minute we walked in you are greeted with warm smiles, polite manners and fantastic customer service. Food was excellent too. Definitely one of our new favourite restaurants from now on! Thank you Sorrento!

Amazing food.Becoming our favourite special restaurant. Atmosphere is friendly . The staff are always so welcoming and attentive. You can even take your own birthday cake in.Did I mention the amazing food. Mmmmmm

Very friendly and pleasant staff, great selection and great food! The mushrooms that come with the pasta are tasty, the chocolate cream on top of the profiteroles was delicious, had the real taste of chocolate and not sugar. My wife tried the "Tarta della Nonna," and the lemon flavor was simply spot-on. Always a pleasure to spend some time there in family, one of our new favorites since we moved to Formby!
