Taj Mahal in Sefton

Unprofessional and rude customer service.I ordered food on uber eats and was given an estimated time of 20:05-20:25. I waited until 20:35 and then I called the restaurant to enquire how long the food was going to be. I was spoken to with utter disrespect and in an impolite manner. I mark his words " I don't have a time to give you as we are short of drivers and you should order from somewhere else next time"and then went on and cut the call off on me. I then decided to go collect the food so I called again after 10 more minutes and as soon as I gave him my address he cut the call off, before I could say anything else. As much as the food was lovely and very tasty, it put me in a bad mood due to the service I had received, I will not be ordering from them again.

We ordered from here tonight and there was an hours delay with food. When we asked where the food was and how long it will be. They said they don't know and don't order from here again. Service was very poor and rude when answering the phone.

Enjoyable, had a lovely meal. Restaurant was clean. Staff courteous.

6 of us ate late one night. Excellent and attentive service and delicious food!

Food was mediocre to be honest, nothing special.. Atmosphere was spoiled by a large party of 14 who were very loud. As it is not a big place acoustically it made the noise seem even worse. There were a few small tables with people sat at them, who were obviously irritated by the noise. Staff were rushed, as was service.

Been to dine twice and asked for the food to be prepared accordingly to our taste and it was delicious at both visits.just as we had asked. I can only wish Taj Mahal good luck and Thank them for excellent service and hospitality.

We eat here at least once a week. Curries are absolutely beautiful. Best in the area. Takeaway is always delivered quickly. Unmatched on quality. Manager and staff lovely. Great with my young son & very personable. 10/10.

Beautiful restaurant.Lovely warm welcome.Great value for money, with delicious food.We ate, Sunday evening 12th Sept,Staff were attentive, chatty and pleasant.Superb evening meal with lovely wine and drinks also.
