The Bakehouse Cafe (Satterthwaites) in Sefton

Nothing as simple as a great homemade pie!Pastry so tasty. Sat outside in the sunshine and shared a Bavarian custard slice which was equally delicious. Lovely friendly staff.

Called on way to Southport, busy, not cheap but pies really good, old style filling tasty & crisp pastry.

Been buying pies and cakes from here since I was a little girl.not the cheapest but certainly the best.never disappoints

What's not to love. Everything's baked from scratch in house and it all tastes amazing. Can never just leave with what I went on for Eccles cakes and pork pies are my absolute fave. Plus meringues and Bavarian slice....I could go on 🤣❤

OutstandingPies are the best you will ever eat as for the cakes the is no words to say how good they are. Yes little bit pricey but as you start eating wot ever you have got you will see why. Can not say on the other stuff they do has I only by the pies & cakes. For people who have no transport the is a bus stop outside so easy to get to. 53/63 buses

Excellent quality products - had a small Birthday gathering 2 weeks ago and everyone commented how good the food was - 1st time I've used Satterthwaites and definitely won't be the last. Even just for a treat for myself. The pork pies are amazing

Went into this shop first time today we even sat inside.... Had the cornish pasty my friend had pork pie.... They were delicious 11 out of 10.....staff very friendly.... Cakes looked amazing..... I would have loved to try the scouse pie..... Well done.... Bloody gorgeous..!!! X we will be back again next time in Crosby.

I love this place! My partner loves their pork pies - they have ones with either apple, pickle (Branston type), chorizo or black pudding. I'm a fan of their steak pies and cheese and onion. Their barms are amazing. As are their Bavarian cakes. I was so pleased to see them back open and I really enjoy my visits (I don't eat in). The staff are always very nice and helpful. Highly recommended.
