The Crown in Sefton

Went last night. Ordered the pie. Think it might have been cooked in microwave. Pastry very pale and undercooked.

10 of us and the food was great. We had the 3 course meal which was great value. Good staff, clean, different Real Ales. Noice

One of the best meals I’ve ever been for. Would recommend coming here! Service is fast and professional. Food is served piping hot. Very happy.

Great, cosy local pub. Relaxing and spacious interior. Extensive range of drinks available on tap. Lovely outdoor garden area with plenty of tables and seating. Excellent to see that it's dog friendly inside, in certain areas. Also dog water bowls and biscuits available to serve yourself. We will be returning with a dog more regularly in future.

Difficult to use Ember Inns offers. Offer was free 125 ml of certain wines we arrived at 13.00 hrs non of these wines where available. Staff friendly & helpful. Meals OK

Called for a late lunch. I had gammon and my wife, fish and chips. We were both delighted with the food. I also enjoyed an excellent pint of Doom Bar. The establishment seemed well run and neat and tidy. Worth a visit.

Best place ever for drinks and food! Staff are very kind, fast and helpfull, specially that lady named Dione. Will recommend to everyone!

Staff were nice. Pasta was rubbery and dry, I don't think I'd go back again, but staff were lovely.

A clean, tidy, friendly chain pub. No complaints and the decor is pleasant enough. Atmosphere is great, and the beer is good. Nice outside seating which has been stylishly lit for nighttime use.I would automatically rate chain pubs rate at 3 stars because they're ok. This got a 4 because it's a good chain pub. Not had chance to try the food.

Once again, we are really, really happy we chose the Crown Ember Inn to celebrate a friends birthday.For the vegetarian, the sweet chilli noodles were very tasty and plentiful. The sea bass with potatoes and asparagus were cooked to perfection and the very filling camembert burger with chips went down a treat. A massive 3 thumbs up from us! The chef did a fantastic job!!!Antonia, the new server was a delight to know, as were Ben and Jake at the bar. Very friendly staff all round.Must thank the manager too....for getting the pub up and running in such an efficient way. Great job!!
