The Good Catch in Sefton

Had an amazing Place fillet with chips. However, too many chips couldn't finish them. The fish was amazing.👍👍👍👍👍

First time I've been here so didnt know what to expect, got a chicken curry with rice and I've got to be honest! The curry was sweet an I prefer spicy wasn't a fan of the peppers in the curry " to many" also got chips an gravy for me partner an she said some of the chips weren't cooked enough or properly so bit of a disappointment all round really.

4,80 for frozen chicken nuggets,,what's happened to fresh ones ,,

Fantastic fish and chips. Great portion and very nice tartar sauce. I love their paper boxes which keeps your food nice fresh when you take away. Lovely friendly staff too.x

Always super fresh. Always lovely fish chips mushy peas. Good size portions, great value for money. Staff are fab as well always clean, tidy and have good banter with customers too x

Just got back from town celebrating Armed Forces Day.We called in to the Good Catch chippie for a take away, her who knows best ordered chicken curry with chips and I ordered home made fishcake and chips.Got the meals home and what an absolute disappointment it was.The chips were tasteless and looked like they had been made yesterday. I don't know who's home the fishcake was made in in but I don't think it was local.Her who must be obeyeds chicken curry looked like it had been delivered by the dog.£10 wastedI really don't know where the great reviews come from for this chippie but they are exaggerated.

I've never had a bad meal from this chippy. Always really tasty fish and chips and the staff are always friendly. The homemade tartar sauce is really good too.

The restaurant lives up to its name and the fish is fresh with a crispy batter and not too oily . The chips were cooked well and all in all a very nice fish supper . One draw back no seating area

The good catch is one of the only chippies in in the area that I would visit time and again. There are a few of these in liverpool ( run as a chain) but all pride themselves on fresh fish being cooked to order. The difference between their food and 95%of other chippies is obvious.....after going here you realise how bad other chippies standards actually are.I couldnt recommend their fish and chips highly enough.Staff are always friendly as well.

We often go to their Hale fish shop so tried this one and found it was up to their high standard. The Fish and Chips were very good. You can eat in and there is plenty of parking.
