fantastic staff - great pub very welcoming

Great Formby pub to watch the football, great selection of drinks and the food was of a really good standard. Loads of room in the pub, it has a really good local vibe to it. The staff were great very friendly and welcoming.

Lovely little hotel and pub and even better they have an EV fast charger in the car park meaning not only a great pub but a forward thinking environmentally friendly establishment!

Amazing food, friendly staff - checkbacks done properly. Clean environment will definitely be back even better it's a stonegate.

The bar man was rude and didn't seem to care, we ordered food but half of the menu was out of stock, but instead of saying what they hadn't got we had to go through the menu. I watched the same happen to another couple and they were about to leave, until another employee actually helped. The food we managed to order was very nice

I’m in the customer service industry, I would always provide positive fair criticism/review. The pub is decked out as good as I’ve seen it, it’s fresh and ready for certainly for big things. The food is really good there. Basic customer service is about making people feel good and so it is frustrating when we visit that at sometimes it seems a chore for bar staff who receive none of the tips to look like they don’t want to be there and look miserable. A smile goes a long way for returning customers on what is such a fantastic venue!

I've been coming here all throughout the last year as it's most covid safe pub I've been to. The manager and the staff have received the worst abuse from the worst of society on the regular just for doing their job the way they've been told to. Seems like lots of people have felt the need to take out their own frustrations on retail and bar staff but Carol and the team always deal with it brilliantly. Thanks for providing a welcoming place to have a few drinks, it's very much appreciated by a lot of people.

New management, great pub food , however LFC fans reserving areas to watch match , these are Fans that sell there tickets to live off the money , wearing tops too small and nursing a pint for a hour .
