The Imperial Hotel in Sefton

Amazing dining experience this evening.Sharer platter was out of this world. Main courses excellent. Bottle of house red lovely. Staff and service wonderful. How lucky are we to have such a wonderful restaurant only 5 minutes walk from our front door??Went to Alberts in Standish last week. Food was average, service appalling. In future we will stick close to home where the welcome is warm, the food excellent and the prices very reasonable.Well done to all of the staff at the “Imp” you are all 5 Star.

Great food, 2 meals for £13! Good portion and really great service from staff, was so welcomed from the girl behind the bar, will definitely visit again 😀

Best thing about this pub is the staff. Very personable, welcoming and friendly. Table Service is seamless. Food is simple but never disappointing. Atmosphere is family friendly with nice colourful sunny decor and always clean.

Nice atmosphere. Had Sunday Roast dinner which was filling. My partner asked.for more gravy which it needed but it was very tasty. Could have done with a sharper knife though.

Took kids for what I thought a cheap and cheerful tea. Food items were missing, kids pasta awful and daughters chicken wrap had hardly any chicken. Wrong dessert was brought then had to be changed. Staff were apologetic and offered 20% off bill but I had already paid and there was a queue at bar so couldnt be bothered. More staff needed as it was chaotic from atart to finish.

Best pub food going, nice atmosphere and not too pricey.

Went for tea with my grandmother who uses a walker and they couldn't have been more helpful making sure we were at a suitable table and her walker wasn't in the way but near at hand.Staff are so friendly and couldn't do more to make the trip a pleasant experience.The food is very well made with large portions. We both ended up leaving some we were that full. We had a spicy dish and the staff noticed the streaming noses from it and without comment passed extra tissues to us. 100% well go again

Great to get back to the Imp, good value and good food. Our waitress was fantastic, really made us feel welcome with a blend of humour and attention to detail. To me the quality of the staff is as important as the quality of the food. (Sorry don't know her name but she was the one who was front of house for the first time after 3 weeks in the kitchen).

Lovely place to visit and full of charm. The food was very good and a wide selection available to meet all tastes.Beautiful decor with lots of seating available both inside and outside. Staff were very helpful and we received very good service here. Would highly recommend a visit here if your in the area. Reasonably priced quality food.

Popped in for a bite to eat. Had the firecracker chicken which was delicious. The service is excellent and the staff are very friendly and helpful. It's a lovely pub and quite large. Highly recommended
