The Merton Inn. JD Wetherspoon in Sefton

Sadly this once lovely pub , appears, to have lost its way.Visited , during the week , and only six customers.Drinks priced reasonable, and , the outdoor seating is a big plus , when , the weather is nice.

Decent outdoor dining experience. It looks like they revamped the menu from when I was last there. The menu is small but accomodating to most tastes

Nice pub. A really good car boot every Sunday

Ordered chili con carne. Said it came with rice and sour cream. Received a bowl of poor quality chili con carne with no rice or sour cream. Instead it came with a few soggy chips, salad and dry garlic bread. It all came with a single tablespoon...to eat chips.

Good food. Good prices. Good drinks & good company. What more could you want?

Very nice pint lovely staff enjoyable after noon all round

Beer ok very rundown sad .many years a go! Very nice boozer never mind ..

It was a very suited pub and had lovely staff the only thing that I think they could improve is the weird placing of the toilets (2 women 1 male it's just me but is a tab wired)

Going for a few drinks? Good!! food? I wouldn't get ever again. Nachos came out like a brick stuck together and the Steak was very chewy.

Visited on Saturday afternoon. Obviously with restrictions still in place, everyone was either standing or sitting on a bench. There were four of us in total. Arrived at five. At five to six we still hadn't managed to order one drink!! Regardless of how many times we tried asking the waitresses. In the end we got fed up and left. Very poor service. Seemed very understaffed. Although 3 waitresses were present only two seemed to be working taking orders. Not been out in a while and kind of spoilt our evening.
