Lovely food, had the bbq wings and chicken chorizo skewers.

Good cosy atmosphere, quiet at the time of visit but good service and good food and drink.I visited again yesterday (19/10/21) and the standard of service was just as good and the staff just as friendly and helpful.Visited again on 20/6/22 and still the same friendly atmosphere and good food and service.

We all had a great time there on Saturday, where the Manager, Paul, made us all feel very welcome at at a surprise family party! The food was delicious & the entertainment was good too. Thank you for a fab evening all round in a lovely, friendly venue! 🎂🎉 🍻🥂

Dog friendly pub. Made to feel really welcome. Msin meals amazing. Pud selection disappointing as too much dairy free. Great there is an option but need to have both. Eg proper custard as well as dairy free.

Their burgers are really good and staff very friendly. Awesome place to take your dogs. The only thing I would suggest is having some water bowls for the furbabies.

Great atmosphere, full of life which was helped by the televised match between Everton and Manchester City. Dog friendly, full pub menu at proper pub prices, child friendly as well. Food was lovely and a free house as well serving good range of beers, wines and spirits as well as soft drinks. Shows that if pubs do what they can best then we don't need Wetherspoons.

We called 20 minutes ahead on the last bank holiday to ask if 3 adults and 2 dogs would be welcome at the pub for food. I feel like the member of staff should have warned us on the phone that most items on the menu were unavailable to prepare us for a potential let down. There was a notice on the bar showing maybe a dozen meals were unavailable, but when it came to ordering it turned out that nearly all of the menu was unavailable. There were only about 8 items to choose from. We also informed the bar staff that we would be ordering separately, but when the third person came to order he was told "sorry we have stopped serving food it's too busy, come back in 40 minutes". My friend that ordered first finished her meal before mine had arrived and then we had to wait an hour and a half for our poor friend to finally get his food too. The food itself was ok apart from my chicken wings were way too overdone. Fair to say it was a bit of a shambles. Two stars is generous but I appreciate it was a bank holiday, there was potentially a lack of staff and I expect food supplier issues too. All of this could have been avoided if the member of staff we spoke to on the phone had made us aware of the issues so we could have had the fair choice to go elsewhere.

·

Food average but many things off the menu due to supply issues, friendly but pub clearly needs refurbishment and decoration. Dog friendly so it was great for us after a cold, windy walk along the dunes.

We booked a table for a festive meal. On arrival the table was set with a table cloth, crackers and santa hats. The festive menu was good value and the food was very good. We all had the turkey dinner. Thick slice of meat with all the trimmings. Very nice. The staff where very attentive and friendly. Will visit again.
