What a great pud, staff and service where fantastic, food was fantastic and great value for money, two beef roasts, with drinks, £26,

I had the steak and stout pie. I asked for chips instead of mash. I have to say, it was lovely. Cooked to perfection, served hot and on a heated plate. Oh and plenty of gravy!!!!Service with a smile!Today's visit, ticked all the boxes!!!Thank you.

Good pub well run with caring staff. We enjoyed it.

Stopped off here for a drink during our walk along the Leeds Liverpool Canal. Plan to return for food as the building looked gorgeous and food being served around us looked brilliant.

What can I say..... amazing staff, amazing menu. Have been made to feel like a local from the first time of walking though the doors. Could not recommend this pub enough. An absolute must to visit.

Overall we enjoyed our meal, star of the show were the 'skin on fries'! Would have been 3 stars for food but the staff were lovely, attentive and obviously having a tough time with cancellations. So collectively we decided 4 stars was fair.

We came for roast dinner on Sunday and was great. Everything was cooked to perfection and we didn't wait for long for the food the wine (cloud cover) was amazing as well

Beth and the team are very friendly. Had the southern combo platter for 2 very good value and very tasty. Coffee was also nice NOT a rip off. Friend had desert and I couldn't resist a taste too. Good portion sizes. Definitely be back. Stopped going pre covid but the new staff are excellent nothing too much trouble. Really enjoyed going and my friend was impressed too.

Cosy atmosphere, Friendly welcome, Not a huge menu but I prefer that - Food was really tasty - Hot, fresh & not too long a wait from ordered to received - We always enjoy each time we visit - looking forward to the warmer weather to enjoy the beer garden out the back.

Popped in for a quick lunch. Pub is immaculately clean and very friendly staff. Fantastic value and delicious sandwiches. So glad we stopped by. Thankyou x
