Food great as well as atmosphere

·

Food is always good in here and the G&T is the bomb!! There is always some great entertainment in there too from the local drunks!

·

The food was OK and the staff are helpful and friendly.

·

Can be a bit loud and rowdy, like many pubs. I visited around 2030 on a Friday and some were rather noisy, and clearly seemed to have been drinking for many hours.

·

Cracking little out of town Spoons where everyone is friendly. Keep up the good work folks 👍👍

Meal (Large Mix Grill) wasn't the best. No real flavour. Service was ok.

·

Great food and drink staff brilliant great atmosphere

Nice pub with more of a 'local' feel than more Wetherspoons. Expect to see racing on the television and betting slips being passed around. I wouldn't say it is handy to pop into after shopping at the nearby Bootle strand as no body shops there anymore but this Wetherspoon is busy at all hours of the day with pints of mild and Guinness seeming to be the 9am beverage of choice here. Food is expertly heated up by Chef Mike's professional team of professional pingers. Personally I prefer a different vibe but it is comfortable and friendly. I find that the staff are very nice and welcoming here.

Terrible attitude from bar man with beard, disgusting.Just a waiting room for the old people if Bootle. They need to clean floor in toilets, my shoes stuck to floor.Scruffy place and I will not be going back.

3 dishes for £11 what more do you want. Cheap and cheerful. Really nice ales on tap.
