Toby Carvery Ainsdale in Sefton

Lovely staff with great food but unfortunately when we asked for some mayo as we ordered loaded potatoes we were told they had none,won't stop me revisiting to be fair ill just need to take some mayo next time 😄

Best carvery we've had in a very long time! Everything fresh & available, staff were very friendly but didn't keep coming over to check on us which was appreciated!

Me and my little girl went on a Friday, the waiter was very nice and helpful and he was just a joy with my 5 year old. We had a big amazing carvery and oh my days that was nice! The beef was just perfect, not dry at all, and the gammon I loved too. All veg was hot and very tasty, specially some butternut squash.Will come back soon!!! Definitely bringing friends and family :)

Not worthy of the name above the door.Quite frankly the worst Toby Carvery we have ever visited.A basic requirement of a Carvery is decent food, the deck was full of dried out meat, moisture removed vegetables and empty vessels.The chef clearly has no care for their presentation of the product they cook, no understanding of basic expectations.Little or no care or compassion from the team when bought to their attention, they were quite happy when we paid for our drinks and left for food elsewhere.Massive overhaul required, perhaps the managers could be sent to the Aintree branch to see what good looks like…..

Had nice Sunday lunch , meat very good but poor choice of veg and Yorkshire pudding had been kept warm for a while. Quality of food overall was good .

Friendly quick service, food was nice and hot. The best gravy we’ve ever had.

Great Yorkshire puddings, one of the best roasts I've had, good value, So much so I booked for the following Sunday. Would have got 5 stars if they'd had any custard.

Nice staff. But on the day I went. Roasties were hard no fluffy. Cauliflower cheese looked nice. Cali was aldente. I know it suppose to be cooked like that but prefer we'll cooked veg. My partner says meant was dry.. Normally go to bay horse and probably will next time. But restaurant is nice and clean

I have been here on numerous occasions and the food is always excellent, the only downside is they seem to run out of the lamb, but normally it's replenished quite quickly. There always seems to be a queue, but I understand why, the food is excellent, hot and plenty of it.
