Tony's Italian Ristorante & Pizzeria in Sefton

Very expensive and no understanding of COVID protection. ,A couple of ineffective screens and wall fan on full blast!!! Asked the manager about it and told we are just restaurant folk. Watching out for s Cowym spike.

Been many times, still the best place in Southport. Tony knows how to cook and entertain. Frustrating that people go to chain restaurants and cheap Currys houses when this is right under their noses. Relaxing place, nice ambiance and top quality food well cooked.Now permanently closed, as Tony retired

We chose here because we had a large party of 9 of us on a Saturday night and we were struggling to get in anywhere.To be honest first impressions weren't great but the restaurant is rated around 4.5 on trip adviser so we thought it can't be bad....How wrong we were...The kids food was terrible they had pizza however the base was under-cooked and doughyMy steak ordered medium-rare was VERY well done (old boot leather) and so charred on the outside it tasted mainly of burnt food.My wife ordered lasagna which was cooked however it was blackened on top which spoiled the whole thing.This was one of the worst meals I've had in recent memory.

Great place to eat, Friendly staff, seriously good food and outstanding value for money, 5* is not enough.

Just absolutely charming ,the best steaks in town ...not changed the interior since I was young and so they shouldn't , like going back in time to a lovely old italian restaurant...😀.....Tony has Passion in in his cooking and in being a too host .....🤗

Its friendly restaurant and cute. Slight problem is that veal is too salty and waitress is bit slow. Overall its ok really.

What an amazing place., stands still in time... We helpful & friendly staff...... Top things on menu are calazone, steak diane, place, garlic bread, pate & his green lip muscle's.
