Twelve in Sefton

Beautiful. I just realised that I must give you a review. I was there about 3 weeks ago.I'm a very fussy person. I know it. Everyone who knows me, knows it.. I'm a big foodie too. So obviously standards are high. Service must be perfect, the food, the atmosphere, staff demeanor even.. I'm probably just a perfectionist almost.I can say that the meal we had, met all these standards. Between aperitifs and digestifs the whole experience was considerably fine.If you love quality food and fine dining, Twelve is definitely worth the visit.

A beautiful little gem of a restaurant, tucked away off the beaten track. Stylishly decorated. Beautifully clean. Paulo’s menu is absolutely delicious. Impeccable attention to detail and very personal service. I highly recommend you pay him a visit.

A little gem in Southport! The host can’t do enough & enjoys a chat. Food was great when last visited & we need to return soon with friends this time!

Food was eaten far too quickly to take any pictures. This was my second time at Twelve, this time for my dads 60th (we’d had to cancel his party due to Covid). Paulo is so welcoming, offering dishes that aren’t on the menu, making suggestions, pouring aperitifs, generally being so lovely and welcoming. He’s clearly very passionate. They catered for vegetarians and gluten free very well!!! And the pasta del Nata drink at the end is superb. It’s an unusual location and the service is relaxed but it suited us perfectly! Can’t wait to go back next time I’m in southport!

Excellent food and wonderfully attentive staff. The chef and owner Paulo is an exceptional creator. A total gem. We had the vegan taster menu for 5 people and it was brilliant. We're going back very soon.

The food at TWELVE was great; well crafted, delicious dishes with a Portuguese/Asian twist. I had the salt and pepper king prawns to start which was a flawless dish.The crispy beef main with egg fried rice was deep, rich and full of flavour. The only comment would be that if the waiting staff had suggested a side of greens then the richness would have been paired with something fresh which would have been fantastic.The service was a little slow but in all fairness I was exhausted and whereas normally I would have loved the relaxed pacing with interesting decor, that night I wanted something a little quicker.Oh and the chef is brilliant!!! Super friendly, enthusiastic and obviously loves the professional.Would recommend and I will return.

First time at Twelve to celebrate my daughter getting a distinction in her 1st year at college. The food is fantastic, so flavoursome. Chef couldn’t be more attentive or caring. Will definitely be going back again!
