Have had drinks here on a couple of occasions on our visits to Bowness, great outdoor terraced area with fab views over the rooftops to the lake, good service, good selection of beers.

Fantastic meal - lovely veggie (lots of meat options too) options, fantastic service and nice atmosphere. Highly recommended. Thank you. Also dog friendly.

A couple reasonable ales and lagers. Good menu incurring a couple veggies (no vegan I could see) and good service. Didn't need to book in a Friday in March but worth checking. Priced accordingly for area £££

Live in keighley and went to bowness in November for 5 days. Visited the Angel and had one of the best meals ever! It was like I was at the Ritz or Gordon Ramsay's restaurant, the food was that good.My wife and I returned Feb 21st to bowness the Angel experience was just as good as before. Awesome food great setting. Totally recommend!!!!!!

We love visiting the Angel Inn when we stay in the Lakes. Friendly staff and gorgeous food. We did book but it was quite quiet but recommend booking during busy season

Lovely welcoming atmosphere, quick service, friendly staff. Child and dog friendly. Roaring fire. Just popped in for lunch and a drink. I had the open Welsh Rarebit sandwich and my husband the Cheese and Apple served in lovely fresh doorstop bread both had a side salad with a dressing. It's wasn't our first visit but will definitely call in again when we're in the area

Only popped in here for a couple drinks and I have to say the atmosphere is exactly what you need, open fire, relaxing, layout is superb and the view of the lake and hills is outstanding! A little place not to be missed!

We spent a great and peaceful Christmas with my fiancé in the Angel Inn. The room was clean and cozy while the food was delicious, however it depends which chef is in the kitchen. The staff was exceptionally kind and helpful. The location of the Inn is perfect with a nice lake view, close to the pier and easy to get out for hiking. Definitely recommended!

After moving to the local area. We made the effort of coming in the day before to arrange my birthday meal for when my son and partner were going to visit us. We selected a specific table and asked to reserve it. On arriving the day after for the booking we were told that local resident get priority and they had to give up our reservation. Won’t be delighting the establishment with our presence again. Food was average.

The service was very bad, the manager…. His welcoming was poor and unsatisfactory, He let us handle our luggage from building to another building to the 3rd floor by ourselves, as well when we’re leaving the hotel. The breakfast had no many choices. On the first day we ordered something out of the menu from one of the staff which he was very nice and he let the chef to make it. However, on the other days, when the manager taking the orders he refuses to order it for us as he said “the chef is busy” but there was no many costumers there.- There is no sliding safety on the doors.- No cleanliness either room or bathroom. You would never believe that this is considered as a hotel.Having said that I booked a suits which was 100 percent different from what we saw on the website.
