Arnside Chip Shop in South Lakeland

Excellent really fresh fish and the chips were crunchy and well cooked probably the best fish and chips I have eaten in a while. Will be going back for more soon.

So very popular, there was quite a long constant queue. Well worth the wait though and very tasty fish, chips and the gravy was delicious.Would certainly go back, when we're up in Arnside again.

Standard tasting fish and chips served here.There are plenty of benches overlooking the estuary, so great views while you sit and eat your takeaway.We'd made a special journey after reading the reviews... turns out there were better chippys in Morecambe.

Outstanding!Fish and chips are great. The batter is unique, that’s what it makes this dish so special. It’s crunchy and delicious. Don’t forget to order some tartare sauce as a side.Steak and kidney pie is not the best, though.Another special mention to the app, you can order in advance and the meal will be ready on date and time you specified.Edit: forgot to mention this chip shop is also great for the fact it offers gluten-free batter, only few offer this option.

First time we've been here as the queue is usually quite long (which is a good sign!). Can't fault the food at all, absolutely delicious. They didn't have any cod when we visited so we went with the Haddock - not a bad compromise! The staff were working flat out to get everyone served before closing, but the quality of food didn't suffer. Will be visiting again.

Service was slow,but we did arrive at a busy time,around 5.30pm. Staff very friendly. We had fish and chips, overall the fish was good,but unfortunately some of our chips were not cooked through.

A little gem.i was recommended by someone who lives 26 miles away. It's worth the drive but don't be late as they may run out of something. I've only given it 4 star's because I have had slightly better from a shop in Oban, Scotland

1st visit and not the last that's for sure, delicious cooked to order, may be a wait but most definitely worth it.... reasonably priced was expecting to be a bit on higher side with the popularity. A little gem of a shop

THE best fish & chips in the area. Great team of friendly staff makes service very efficient and a pleasure to watch. Clearly environmentally conscious too with the takeaway service. Enjoy!

Best fish and chips we've ever had! Sometimes you have to queue but it's well worth the wait. Lovely fresh fish and tasty chips, not greasy at all and lots to choose from. Always our go to place when in the area!
